Baby matt is going to be in the rest of the episodes this season. Where do you think they are going with this?

Maybe Sylar gets a cool power from baby Matt.

Oh I can see it now Sylar finds baby Matt alone, just when he's about to do his finger thing. Sylar sniffs the air and learns that baby Matt left a surprise for Sylar in his huggies.

could be a way to get peter his first power back or at least enough of it to hold on to more then one power

I don't want Peters power to return that way. I'd rather he becomes more empathetic, like seeing Matt's son in danger, along with his nephews and niece and has a moment where he absorbs his old power back.

He should have atleast had been allowed to have kept tk and the power to absorb another ability to start off with.
They let Sylar keep tk and his original powers when he got his back.

You mean after the shanti virus or after the eclipse? Sylar only kept the tk and intuitive aptitude when he got his powers back in Powerless. He gained new ones this season.

Yeah he lost all the old ones but those two. He gained Elle's power, Claire's regeneration, sound manipulation, lie detection, see the history of any object, and I think there was another power but I'm not sure what that one was.

Lie detection I put it as. So he now has seven powers. Didn't he gain an ability in the comics recently?

The babys power is similar to Arthur's only the baby seems to be able to give powers as well as take them away.
Arthur could only take them away unless he was lying when he said that he couldn't restore powers.

I don't think Baby TouchnGo's powers are anything like Arthur's. From what we've seen, heard in interviews, etc, the baby's power is the ability to turn "on" and "off" biochemical and electrical systems. He can't "give" or "take" powers that someone doesn't already have, but he can turn them on and off biochemically.

Well the reason I said that he may be able to give powers to normal people was because Hiro at the time the baby fixed his power he was a normal person like everybody else. When Arthur took someones power he went down deep and left nothing so after he took someones power they were just like everyone else who never had a power at all.
When Peter took the injection he recieved a similar power to the one he had before but it is limited now.
When Hiro got power from BTNG I believe he didn't recieve the same power he had before but a different one that is similar to time travel/teleportation but more limited.
Thus if Hiro was a normal person after the Arthur incident (and the show did say that a person is normal after Arthur drains them of power) he should be able to give power to another normal person.

I'm just going off how the writers/producers have described BTnG's powers. In an interview they said he could turn on/off biochemical/electrical systems.
I think it's a safe bet that BTnG "turning on" Hiro's power is what happened, and the fact that (as you said) Hiro had no power left to turn on (i.e. he was "normal") is simply a plot hole by the writers. The writers even wrote Hiro the line explaining that the baby "turned on" part of his powers. They said the person is a normal person after Arthur drains them, but that might have just meant they had their ability-gene "deactivated". The descriptions of Arthur's powers aren't nearly as precise in their wording as the descriptions of BTnG's powers, so there is more wiggle room. Since we have a set description of the baby's powers and an explanation (from Hiro's mouth) of how that description could fit with his time-freezing ability returning, it seems the best option.

I agree with GrantCalibre about the deactivated gene, sounds about right. Have to see what actually happens when Arthur Petrelli steals abilities on the cellular level. I guess could think of it in terms of The Haitian. The Haitian takes memories, but can't give them back. Later it's discovered that cellular damage occurs and can be reversed/healed which results in memories returning.
In the case of stealing abilities: Arthur may actually damage, disable, or cut off access to the ability-gene. BTnG is able to enable or activate a connection again *maybe some biochemical re-routing*, but not a complete planned activation.
Perhaps an older/more experienced/focused Matt Parkman Junior could completely re-enable Hiro and Peter's powers. Hell, probably could cure cancer one day.
