LOIS AND CLARK owned Smallville tonight, not just the episode but the whole freaking town. Did anyone else notice she didn't correct Linda Lake when she said "your boyfriend...." And the ass kicking she gave her later, kick ass! And the save, where Clark DIDN'T have to hide his face from Lois. The end scene was bittersweet. I wish he would have crossed the street, but then what he would have sat down and they would have cut to the credits??? If and When Clois get together they need to dedicate more than 30 seconds to it.

I loved everybody except for Chloe. She didn't have much to do this episode. I was more emotionally invested in Clark, Lois, and Davis and their compelling plot-lines.

Clark made several major mistakes in this episode (in my opinion) even though his heart was in the right place and he managed to save the day yet again, so I didn't choose him. And Davis rocked, but I always have a hard time rooting (or voting) for the villain, so he was off my list.

It's actually probably a tie, for me, between Lois and Chloe, though whenever those two go head to head, I always have to end up siding with Chloe, who was back to her normal caring, compassionate, non-wishy-washy, protective, and fiercely loyal self. YAY, CHLOE!!!

That is very true. Not just on shows, but in any story with a lot of characters.

When I write I try to keep a good balance of male and female characters. I'm not one of those female writers that have a ton of women and hardly any guys. Testosterone is very important. ;)

I will be one of the rare ones to say that in this episode my clearcut fav was Davis Bloom. I mean wow... this guy can act the part so well. He shows as much promise as Tom Welling portraying a young Clark Kent in my books because he is still trying to remain human even though everything is telling him that he was bred to be a natural born killer. I think that his attraction to Chloe shows it like she would be the only thing keeping him from becoming the monster he was meant to be. I honestly give the award to him this episode.
