Sylar becomes all powerful and starts killing anyone in his way. Peter realizes he needs to get over his emotions and empathize again. Peter gets his old power and challenges Sylar to the ultimate showdown. The fight is brutal. Sylar somehow gives Peter the scar. Peter "kills" Sylar. In an epilouge it is revealed that Nathan became the first Meta human President and promises to bring change. Then when Nathan is alone, he changes, revealing that Sylar took his place. And Sylar ends the episode with a smile.
I wish this would happen. According to the "Behind the Eclipse" Q&As the writer's hinted that the end of volume 4 will shape into thje future seen in "5 Years Gone." Also the writer's hinted that in the episode "Into the Asylum" Sylar will go into the governemnt facility and acquire abilities from the prisoners. All the other stuff is wishful thinking.
If someone could give me a link to the "Behind the Eclispe" Q&As I would really appreeciate it.

Sweet. I'm wondering if Samson will find new powers and challenge him again. Or maybe he finds Claire and Peter fights him off.

I certainly hope " I Am Sylar " is not yet another episode where Sylar contemplates being a good guy. Maybe after he deals with his identity crisis he will finally figure out who he is, and he can then focus on being an awesome and more manipulative villain, a la Darth Sidious.
P.S. did they tell us in "Five Years Gone" what Matt Jr.'s power is?

No they never did. I'm not even sure if it was implied that he had a power but he was also working with the government and he may have wanted his wife and son safe. I would like to see Sylar recruit Luke and kinda be like Arthur, but knowing he will steal their powers in the end.

Sylar will be shapeshifting into his stepmother Virgina Gray in this episode. That is just sick.

Thats messed up. So he will be Norman Bates with powers then?

well going by the spoiler posted on herosite with the finale's official description, I think that Sylar does figure out what he wants to do because it says Nathan will fight Sylar trying to stop sylar from killing the president. Maybe this is how the awesome Peter/Sylar fight starts. No matter how mad Pete and Nate are at each other right now we know that both would kill for the other

I don't know if Peter would kill for him. Sylar didn't think Peter was a killer and thats why he stopped the bullet from hitting Arthur.

Peter is a killer in both futures, he broke Sylar's neck in Volume 3, and he was the one who pulled the trigger on the gun that fired the bullet that did kill Arthur. But what I meant it that the two would do anything for each other no matter what happens between them. I mean look at everything that both brothers went through in season 1 and 2. Nathan continually said (until fugitives) that he wouldnt be the man he is without Peter and peter may have remembered his mom in the future in season two, but it was only after hearing Nathan's name that Peter remembered everything.

Sylar and Rebel come face to face in this episode so the question is will Sylar let him live
Sylar looks at a photo of what I think is Nathan and Peter like he wishes that Arthur would have really been his father.

They said they are killing off someone that has been around since season 1. that could include Janice since she is making her guest returns here late in the season. I really dont like the idea of killing off Nathan because there is so much they can do with his character. Nathan was in the military and i believe they said he fought some in Iraq, he has been blown to hell by Peter, shot multiple times in the chest, stopped New York from going boom, and helped stop a virus that would have killed over 93% of the population on earth. After everything that Nate has been through, it would suck to see him go done by the hands of Sylar because it really wouldnt be a fight because the only ppl that can give Sylar a run for his money are the Haitian, Peter, Parkman, and perhaps Hiro. Nathan deserves a better death than to be one of Sylar's trophy victims. The death could still (but doubtfully) be Noah or perhaps someone no one has thought of, Janice. I could see her as a casualty with the Parkman situation.

That would really push Matt over the edge after Daphne dying if Janice now shows up and then is killed within days of Daphne's death would be too much.
Micah could be the death since he has a Sylar encouter in this episode and Sylar would want that power.

I think we can take Micah off the list because he is going to be in the summer web comics

i think micha just give sylar some info and from there sylar will decide on what side he's going to be on. of course once he finishes playing that side he'll go back to being on his own agenda., whatever that is. also by the spoilers it says sylar's new powers will start affecting him. apprantly giving him personality problems. maybe he'll want to get rid of that ability if it starts to affect him that way. baby and stop and go might be able to take them away. i doubt it.

at some point or another sylar and claire will end up teaming up and i think deep down inside claire has a thing for him even with all the bad things he's done. also for sylar he'll probably want to change claire into a monster.
he whatever happened to sylar's sidekick? microwave boy. he just got written out of the show didn't he? just like claire's flying boy west.

It would be cool if some of the kids that have powers came back. Micah did. How about Wes, Luke, the breathing underwater boy etc. It would be weird for Claire to team up with him considering he killed her mother, and pretty much brain-raped her.

Yeah
theres not that much time in a one hour show for so many characters which is why I came up with the idea to make spin off Heroes shows.

With ratings I doubt there would be a spin-off show.
Pretty boring episode. The only thing going for NBC is they're all full of hype. The finale will be no different.
