10, That was a great episode! :D
Good episode :) Lots of turns and some more background about Sylar. If we could have had some of Peter's story and more of Hiro's then it would have been a 10 for me :) Overall good episode content wise.
And of course, Glover was great.

Man with John Glover how could it be less than a "10"?
Awesome, I am watching this one again tonight.

Hi everybody. I'm a long time watcher of Heroes and Smallville. I have been lurking these boards for years as well. After this awesome episode with John Glover I had to Jump In and Give this a 10. I hope John comes back for more Heroes Episodes. He moved me with his performance.

10!! And I didn't even see the whole thing! I did see a few Sylar/John Glover scenes..I also saw where Claire helped Doyle get away from the agents and I was shocked when I saw Nathan and Claire in the last scene..Maybe Nathan "turned over a new leaf" but I doubt it. Sylar in that guys house at the very end was great! I'm hoping Sylar takes him out..I've been waiting for that since this new set of episodes started!!

I liked it. They could have had a Peter scene on there for a second though. I gave it a 9.

AMAZING!!!! OMG!!!! JOHN GLOVER YOU ARE GOD!!!!!!!!!!! And Claire? Working at a comic store? What more can you ask for? That was sooo funny. Sylar vs. his dad was just amazing. I had a lot of high hopes for this episode and it did not disappoint at all. Danko needs to die, hopefully Sylar will pick him off, however the blowback for that could be much worse for him and everybody else. AAMAAAZIING!!!!!!!!!! 15 out of 10 for me!!!

I posted the same thing in the quotes thread. It's been my suspicion since the second or third episode that he does have a power. And I think Nathan also knows. His remark about which of them is first to get to the president (or what ever it was) may have been just about that...which of them gets "outed" first loses.

I'm not voting yet, since my local NBC station messed up really bad. And now I have a non-stop click-clicking sound through the whole thing. Which would drive any normal person insane. Is it too much to ask for a quality broadcast?
But after just watching it once I'm probably going to give it a 6 or 7. Just because the Sylar scenes were pretty good; the rest was just OK nothing amazing, though.
And man did they pack way too much into this episode. I mean, the whole Matt exploding thing was over before it began. But it might just be the way I'm remembering it; I'll post again after re-watching it. But it all seemed to happen too fast, and it's even hard to remember what happened, because so much happened. Though, I say so much happened, but really nothing really happened; there was very little to take from this episode, other then Sylar being bad again.
And again they spent way too much time on Claire. You know it's great and all that she wants to save people, but lets be real, it's just a little bit cheesy. So, lets cut half of the time she gets. Then, give that half to Peter.
Peter not being in this episode was annoying, but you know he's probably out there doing something. Maybe sitting on a tropical island somewhere, who knows?
So over all it was just OK, nothing amazing though.
9 - Sylar and his father were super. Still I feel there were no answers about why his father killed his mother and sold him to his brother. The Danko/Nathan stuff was awesome. Good to see Tracy again. Great ending with Nathan/Claire. Can't wait until the next episode.

Samson told Sylar that he didn't remember why he sold him and killed his mother. And Sylar's lie detector didn't go off, so I suppose he's telling the truth.

Gave it a 9. Most of the scenes were great. I found it somewhat disappointing that the paintings of Matt being the bomb and killing a lot of people were quickly dismissed, was hoping they would elaborate on it more. I like the Sylar + his father scene it was great but was hoping a little more. I found it hard to believe that his father underestimated a power like cellular regeneration and was easily beaten by Sylar. If he really has the same power as Sylar he could of found a way to get cellular regeneration, like how Sylar is able to get out of tough situations. I was hoping they might show Samson using empathy to take Sylar cellular regeneration but that didn't happen either. These are not the reasons why I gave the episode a 9.
Why I gave it a 9 was because the writers are getting back to their old habit with bad writing towards the end. Why do Hiro and Ando need to save Matt Parkman(jr)? Technically, it's not his baby so that baby is suppose to a power that came from two normal humans? I mean it's possible but it just doesn't make sense unless later they will elaborate that the baby is one of the few rare babies that is the first to evolve to get a power without DNA from parents and also one of those babies that seem to develop a power at an early age (Claire was supposedly have cellular regeneration when her Mother blew the house on fire).
But the real let down for me in this episode is how they made Denko walk all over these evolve people like Nathan, even though Nathan and Peter, and probably other evolved people could easily kill Denko. The good news is that well Nathan technically has to be on his Mother side now, since Denko knows Nathan can fly and this also means Nathan will help those people that are evolved now so they aren't caught by the government. The other good news is Denko lol he ain't going to live against a Sylar, can't wait to Sylar owns him.
P.S. :) It seems like the writers finally improved and let Tracy evolved during one of the preview scenes at the end of tonight episode. That made me a little happy since they really made her power completely useless this season. Hiro has to get his power somehow wonder what the baby power is.
Atrocious. It started out great and then went to crap when it focussed on Danko (at the end). C'mon. Sylar keeping Danko alive. [Mod Edit]

I gave it a 7.
I’m going to have a “wait and see” attitude about the show coz I don’t want to be downer every week.
I thought Glover was great though, not that different from Lionel in the first couple of seasons of SV with almost the same type of verbiage.

Meh, I thought it was lacking. Once again, way too much Claire. If the writers are reading this they should see that she's had enough screentime and needs a break.
John Glover was really good, but I was expecting more of a fight with Sylar, not Sylar playing possum then choking the guy with his oxygen cord. Disappointing if you ask me.
The rest, minus Doyle, was forgettable. Though I found out I really like Doyle. He's awesome, villian or not.
Maybe the next episode really will be classic and not suck too much.
Edit: Oh, right. I forgot about Hiro and Ano being back. And Hiro was acting in-character. Thank goodness! "No thank you". That made me LOL. Awesome. Looks like
he's stopped being useless.

Pretty good in places but mediocre in others. Not nearly as fun as last week's (Exposed).
The Doyle/Claire pairing was odd and unnecessary. I don't get why we needed to see more of that freak, especially if he's not going to be an important character later on. I mean they kill off Adam's character before using him anywhere near his potential, but return freakshow pervert Doyle for another go? Why? And making Claire a "geek girl" by working at the comic book store is just the writers/producers living out their own geeky fantasies. Sort of like Smallville's writers'/producers' obsession with KK.
I was disappointed with what they did with Sylar's dad/JG after all the buildup toward it. Making him diseased and decrepit was not the way to go, especially given that the episode also spent time on freakish Doyle--one freak is enough. Plus when fake dad Arthur came into the show, he started off sick and stole Adam's healing power to revive, and now that's basically how they introduce Sylar's real dad too? Sick and dying and needing to steal a healing power to get back in the game? Repetitive and lazy. Everything they did between Sylar and Arthur#2 this ep was all too familiar.
And was I the only one cringing when Hiro/Ando made an appearance? Nothing they ever do with them is worth screen time to me anymore. Dead weight, especially Hiro. Such a butchered character.

:rotfl: Your review is so funny! I don't think we've seen the last of Arthur#2. I can totally see Arthur#2 turning into Lionel Luthor once he obtains the healing power.
Doyle is more than just a pervert. (If you've read this week's graphic novel, you'll find out that he used his powers to force someone to have sex with him)

Alright, after watching it a second time, I think, I'm going to give it a 5.
As I stated earlier, the whole Matt Parkman blowing up was kind of a let down. I knew they weren't really going to blow him up. But I just didn't get the point. Danko says it's to "put a face to the threat," but the people wouldn't know that Matt was one of the people they were going to lock up. And that still doesn't explain why they were treating American citizens like that to the public. But maybe I missed something. Oh, and I highly doubt they would let a U.S. Senator talk to a guy with a bomb wrapped around his chest, just seems a little dangerous.
The whole Claire and Doyle thing was pointless. I don't get why Doyle went to Claire for help either, I mean, sure Claire has a free pass, but how was she going to help him? It just doesn't make sense to me. I would have rather liked to see some progression on Peter's storyline instead.
Sylar was probably the most interesting part of this episode. Sylar meeting his Father wasn't all that interesting, but I loved seeing Sylar back to his old evil ways--or I hope he is. And seeing him in The Hunters house at the end of the episode was awesome.
The ending with Hiro and Ando was just confusing. I really have no clue what they're even doing with all of this. So I'll just let it pan out in the next episode.
So like I said before, it was just OK. I don't think it lived up to the hype, though.

ahh hiro may have been butchered but i am excited for ando...finally he is a real part of whats going on...sorta (well he was working with everyone else but they are now either captured or M.I.A. like peter and he is helping rebel and matt parkman jr.)Yeah, I agree Ando's not a bad character. Problem is, we can't have one without the other on this show it seems. They've joined them at the hip. Hiro should have been killed off back when Adam was (after the vendetta was settled). Better yet, Adam should have stayed on, and Hiro should have been the one relegated to dust.
:rotfl: Your review is so funny! I don't think we've seen the last of Arthur#2. I can totally see Arthur#2 turning into Lionel Luthor once he obtains the healing power.
