I gave it a 9. It answered loads of questions and moved things forward quite a bit. Now i feel like the bulk of this season's plot can really start to MOVE now that the Oceanic 6 are back on the Island, along with our still "lost" friends and the new castaways, who should throw an interesting wrinkle into things. This will be pretty cool, I think.

...I don't know. I was pretty tired tonight and Locke is my least favorite character.
(I've never liked him and liked him even less after he brutally beat up Charlie. *cries*)
I did like that it did answer some questions, like SGuthrie27 said.
Although I think my favorite part was seeing how underhanded and evil Ben can really be. I think that was one of the most creepy, horrific things I'm seen in a tv show. I almost wanted to close my eyes, and I don't think I've ever done that while watching Lost.
I found it very interesting that the other people on the plane crashed. I mean, I thought maybe Jack and everyone were just transported, but now it makes things kind of interesting that the new plane is crashed, too. Hmm. What happens to them now?
I say 7 or 8. It was pretty good, but I still don't like Locke. And now...he's back from the dead. Oh no! :P

Mini Wolfsbane, I'd forgotten about that horrid treatment of Charlie back in Season 2 when he thought he was back on drugs and really wasn't... Grrr! Why couldn't they bring back Charlie? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they might -- you never know who's going to live, die, or be resurrected on this show. Anything can happen, right?
Yeah, I know, there were several points where I looked away or wanted to. The makeshift surgery on Locke's leg, the time when he puked out of nowhere in Tunisia (gross!), the point at which Locke ALMOST hung himself, and then when Ben strangled him after he got the information he needed... Creepiness to the extreme!

What a shock, when Ben strangled Locke!eek I don't understand why Ben killed Locke, then took over Locke's quest to get the 6 back to the Island. They could have worked together. Very creepy and violent!
Did I miss seeing the crashed Plane? I think I missed something:/ I thought they were just teleported from the Plane to the Island.
I didn't like actually seeing Locke hanging, the shadow was enough. Still, this episode
kept me interested, good to know what happened to Locke after he moved the Island. Confirmation of the Exit point being in Tunisia was cool. I give it an 8.

I give it a 10. As a Locke fan, this was great. Whitmore gave us a lot of answers, something that has been a little lacking in the last few episodes. The plane did crash, but apparently Jack, Hurley, and Kate may have been transported in time. Maybe the plane crashed in a different time?
One thing that bothered me was I don't get why Ben killed Locke. I mean, why tell him that the island needs him and all that and then kill him? Locke was about to kill himself. I still don't get that. But it also seemed like when Ben was leaving, that when he said he'll miss Locke, that maybe Ben didn't think that Locke would come back to life.

Good episode. It had a lot of intense moments. I mean, Locke about to hang himself, then Ben saves him from doing it at the last second, then minutes later strangles him! That was another one of those OMG moments. That's one thing I like about Lost is those shocking twists. I really hated Ben when he did that. But then I was thinking ok it's not that bad because Locke was just about to do the same thing anyway. It was something about when he mentioned Eloise that set him off. I wish we didn't have to wait a week to see the next episode :)

My dad thinks that the reason Ben strangled him after convincing him not to hang himself was that he wanted to get all the information he could out of him, specifically the name of Eloise Hawking -- I'm not sure he knew of her, or where she was, even though he said he did. I also think he figured he had a way of getting the Oceanic 6 to the Island himself and didn't want Locke to stand in his way, especially after getting leverage over Sun (in the form of Jin's wedding ring, which we saw him use in the previous episode to convince Sun to come back).

^ ITA. Just had a conversation with a friend about Ben getting the info. He didn't seem to know Eloise, or if he knew her, didn't know that she would be the person to help him. I'm interested now to see how the Locke/Ben thing is going to. For awhile, there seemed to be a respect between the two men because they both wanted to protect the island. Now it seems they're going to be on opposing sides.

I only gave this one a 5. Other then the ben/locke scene, it was a little dull. Even the episode "untangled" thing was tiring.
