Bad news to report: Despite the entire idea of waiting until January to air the episodes because there would be no repeats. But, that's not the case this year. There will be a repeat on March 11th. As far as I know, this will be the only repeat this season.

wonder why march 11th? maybe there is some news thing or something that would mess up the airing in certian areas :\

No, I believe that either it's taking them longer to produce one of the episodes (I'm going to be episode 14) and at the end of episode 8, maybe that's like a natural story break? It would suck if we got to episode 13 and there's a killer cliffhanger and we have to wait two weeks for a new one. Also it may have something to do with them trying to turn 17 episodes of the season into 16 with a 2 hour finale. I'm not sure.

Isn't there always a break between the penultimate episode and the 2hr season finale?

No, most networks air the last 5 episodes without repeats. But, we waited until January so we wouldn't have any repeats. And Lost has one break already, and they're about to have another one in a few weeks.
