I thought it was totally badass at the end, but I definitely missed Sylar, plus I know he has a purpose, but I want the Hunter DEAD DEAD DEAD!!! I can't stand stupid people like him. Anyway. Can't wait for next week. Looks like the central Season 1 plot is going to be revisited. Can't wait. I hate waiting a week to see these episodes.
8/10 - I liked it being an HRG centered episode. I also liked that Peter was somewhat more controlled and not as whispy as he normally can be. I also like that some of this is blowing up in Nathan's face.

Wow, it looks like everyone is voting the same right now.
I liked it, but I was not on the edge of my seat as usual.
Matt is WAY more powerful than they are showing, remember, he has his daddy's power, he could have caused the Storm troopers not to be able to see him, or see him as someone else.

It almost made me quite watching the show period. i found anything we found out about HRG was either self evident or unimportant. As usual the very end was the only worthwhile thing about.

Average. Nothing ''really'' new about HRG but for a fill-up (and it wasn't supposed to be one), it was still a good fill-up episode.

Somehow Heroes manages to make entire episodes without anything happening. I think they keep all these separate groups so that they can do episodes when each group finds out information the audience already knows, and it gets annoying after several of them. Average episode.

It gets a 3 from me. Because, it was actually more boring than last weeks episode. I kept expecting something cool to happen, but the action scenes just weren't there. We really didn't get anywhere either, just learned more about HRG.
So overall, this episode could of been a whole lot better.

This episode is just about does it for me and Heroes. I can't believe that after nearly 3 seasons none of our so-called heroes are even remotely 'heroic.' There has been zero character development for anyone, they all revert back to their self centered ways. And to top it off they end it with yet another painting of a giant explosion....
And gee...HRG is pretending to be a bad guy...that's so different...

I thought it was pretty good. And at least we know Daphne is defiantly alive now.
9 - HRG is awesome. Ma Patrelli is interesting as always. Liked Mo being back to his Mo self. References to watches and grey I can't help but think about Sylar.

I'm going to have to watch it again, because I was distracted by two things:
1. Eating dinner
2. Everything concerning Mohinder. ;)
It was better then last week's episode, but I can see where it was a 'filler' episode.
The only difference was this week it didn't nearly put me to sleep and it did have some better parts.
Like, Peter facing off against the Hunter. Peter's getting more brash and less nice. I kinda like that. It was different.
Except for a few mentions, there was no Claire in this episode. I'm shocked.
It didn't hit me until the end, but for those of us that feel the character is sorely overused, it's a good thing.
It was good to see Matt get a little character development and toeing the line.
For a slapped together pairing (I mean that in a nice way, but honestly it
was slapped together.) he sure cares about Daphne a lot.
I love them together, but it was so forced when it started out. The writers had
all the time to take it slow, but no of course they didn't. Bleh.
I was surprised and happy to see she's alive.
Cool seeing more stuff about this new operation and how it started, even if most of it was stuff we knew already.
That's about it. I'm really tired so I can't remember everything I liked.
Solid 5. Not great, but decent.

I have to agree with you. Not that I'll stop watching the show, but if they continue to do what they're doing, then it might come down to that. It just doesn't seem to go anywhere, and the lack of character development is a big reason for this. They just keep reseting everyone, and the shows just gotten unbelievable and fake.
I don't know exactly what made the first season so great, but they should go back to whatever that was.

Gave this one a 7. For a decent episode. Had some action but wasn't so amusing like the usual action I was hoping for. The stuff they explained weren't really surprising if you ask me it's one of those things we could assume from an HRG episode, but it's great to hear Daphne is alive. I was pretty certain he wasn't to stay a villain it's just not his type in the endgame. So the only disappointment in this episode is there wasn't so much action I was hoping more than just talking between Peter vs Daenko and Matt power did evolve during that episode so that was cool. Only problem is that they made him seem weak towards the end of the episode being captured so easily by the guards, with a power like Telepathy he could of owned them with illusions or control their minds easily, but I guess too much numbers, and he really wasn't motivated to go on a killing bath now that Daphne is alive. So that's the reason why i gave it a 7 this episode was like 70%flashbacks with HRG which is great for viewers who are interested in HRG which is why i gave it a 5.5-7, but the action which was like 30% of the episode wasn't so great so give that a 1-2. Although towards the end of the episode, Matt painting what seems to be him extracted to explosives is somehow going to kill a lot of people got me very confused. Another thing I noticed in this episode is Peter, he's not the usual Peter we know him anymore I guess a lot of people were right about this. The moment he shot Daenko with the gun in the arm could resemble his huge change not just ability but his personality whether it's from the situations he's been put in lately or his personality has changed overall due to his new power. I was just shocked that he shot Daenko the moment Nathan tries to persuade Peter and makes a move, this showed that Peter isn't the scaredy cat anymore he's willing to kill if he has to, the only reason I think he didn't was he didn't want to kill infront of Nathan and was still confuse what Daenko was saying. Not a bad change overall, dont really hate this new personality of Peter but that power has to go I don't see him doing so much with just 1 power at a time even though he use his flying ability at it's highest capabilities.
It's kind of hard scoring season 3 episodes since were use to comparing old episodes but I think my seven is reasonable.
#edit response to Level 5: For me I like season 1 because the writers didn't get too confusing with the powers I mean it was a little confusing with Hiro Time maniuplation and maybe a few other powers but to some extent it was understandable and the viewers could be reasonable with it. What I also like about season 1 was the surprise factor (Finding out Peter could absorb more than one ability, going in dept with these abilities and seeing how it could change the world/how great they are, Finding out drama surprise stuff like Claire being the neice of Peter and daughter of Nathan, and most of all a lot of action scenes where it'll get you off your feet wanting to see more such as Peter vs Sylar, all the heroes finally getting together in weird situations seeing how a Japan office worker meets a Stripper from Nevada, and how they all met in NY.) Stuff like that were amusing to see and they could bring most of these great factors back without ruining the story if they focused the great things from Season 1 where things weren't confusing and yet very thrilling to see.

:P 2 hours if you count the last episode. Look on the bright side, 3rd time is a charm. So the next episode must be good, I'm excluding the first episode haha. With a flashback episode like that the next episode better or should be mainly action like they showed in the preview!

As long as they don't just start making stuff up like sending Hiro to India. "which has nothing to do with the fugitives storyline at all." And wasting time on introducing people like fishboy that I am sure has a useless power. If they keep to the story and I'm good. I still wouldn't change my vote from a 10 for this one. But last weeks that was a different story.

I gave it a 3, it was boring, redundant, the characters are passé, it’s the same ole’ thing just a different day.
Monhinder's character has lost all credibility and with that all interest.
I think this season needed a better reboot; there is nobody to root for. Where are the heroes…are oh wait… they were back in season one.

Here was my one big complaint: why were the three of them acting like such immature, unintelligent babies?
They just went after Noah, head-first with all their baby-anger flaring. As adults, I would think they would all realize they have to grow up and handle this situation like what they are: hunted animals.
If someone is hunting you and you don't know who or why, then you learn all you can in SECRECY before you make a move. That wasn't secrecy! Seriously, have they never seen a spy movie? You watch and wait, and maybe when you are ready to make a move you begin making silent, covert moves such as messing with the enemy's intelligence.
Who is "rebel"? Who is feeding claire info? If it's not Noah, then it's someone with a brain that at least Peter and Matt now need to take some serious lessons from.
Stop making them act like big, unintelligent babies and let's see them show some heroic intelligence, foresight and planning!

Noah: "I can only do so many crossword puzzles." lol corny but funny
Noah: "One of us, one of them. It helps to even the odds."
Danko: "I think it's better to work with one of us, and one of us. Or ten of us. Or twelve of us, and none of them." (loved that part)
I also laughed at the "How did you get here so fast?" bit. Just like something someone would say to Clark Kent. heh
I love how they're making Danko/the Hunter say and notice things any of us would, he's sort of like an audience surrogate acting on our behalf. Poking fun at things Heroes does with common sense. heh
I actually found myself laughing out loud a few times this ep. A simplistic episode but still way, waay better than last week's garbage. (This volume is clearly dumbed down compared to the previous one, which was convoluted and all over the place in comparison. They need to find a nice halfway or medium.)

I found the episode to be average at best. Nothing new was learned, that anyone with some sense would've already picked up on from previous episodes. And I agree with some posters about it being "dumbdowned" with the paint by numbers dialog. I mean really who's the target demo, eight year olds? . They do need to find a medium or it'll start to get insulting. But I'd give it an 5.5 or a solid 6 out of 10. If only for the camptastic one liners. You just gotta love those.

It was much better than the last two episodes. It had no Claire or whiny Hiro. The threat of the soldiers looming in was interesting. Unfortunately, most of the flashbacks did not give much new information.

Lame.
During S6 and S7 of Smallville, when it was garbage, I could still act cool because I watched Heroes, and people liked that.
Now with the reversal. What the hell.

8/7 - For once I didn't like it that much. HRG is awesome and it was cool to see a Noah centric episode, but the developtment was kinda slow. Though I didn't mind the last 15 mins or so. I'm glad that we got some Matt, Mohinder and Peter though. Finally Peter is DOING something rather than just being whiny hidding behind his big brother's back.

I for one don't see how Hiro will get his ability back. The formula has been destroyed so that won't help him, and even if they did find some, there is no guarantee it will give him back his original power (like with Peter.)
I might have rated this episode a little low, but it kinda deserved it.

Yeah, lets just hope it isn't something stupid, like how they gave Matt precognition.
I really hope Hiro and Peter both get their original powers back though. And get them back in a way that's not totally ridiculous.
