In Power forums, a lot of people said 'I'm not gonna watch the next episode' and now the same people say the same things in Requiem forums. [MOD EDIT]

About last two episodes, maybe Power and Requiem wasn't the best, but they are obviously not the worst.

The episodes sucked.

Everyone has a right to voice their opinions.

That's what forums are for.

I think people post because this is a free forum and people have the right to do as they please. They may annoy you but at this very same moment this thread may be annoying them too! See how that works? :)

As for me, I'm sticking to the show till the very end. I go where Lois Lane goes! She's been my idol since I was nine years old! :)

I'm sticking with the show too and I never intended not to. But I understand those who complain maybe more than they should, because posting it's a way of expressing anger, rage, disappointment and frustration, of course.

Exactly and in my opinion Power was the worst with Requiem coming in at a close second.

I know I am in the minority but I don't think Lana's arc was all that bad. I am one of the people who want Lois and Clark over Clark and Lana but I still appreciated their time together in these past 4 episodes.

The last scene between them really touched me.

why do I keep torturing myself w/ this lousy show? this is the way I see it...
1. Clark has overall stop working in the DP because of lana
2. He's willing to give his relationship with lana another try AFTER 8 yrs of trying and failing.
3. He would continue to be lana-obsessed but can't since lana's kryptonite overdose. So basically lana's smarter than Clark and she's the one that gave clark the final push to become superman, lana lana lana *augh*
4. It was lana's idea to go away not Clark's, after all he just wants to play house with her and forget about the world.
why would the ps3 bring her back at all??? I'm having a fricking awful year anyway why not blow it althogether by forcefeed me Clana time after time?

I must be a masochist, I keep coming back for more

1. We have forty minutes of television a week. There's no reason to assume he isn't going to work.
2. 8 years, in moments. Season 7 they were together the whole time, and this was really just a continuation. They tried season 2 briefly, season 3 briefly, season 5, and 7-8. That's not all that terrible.
3. I don't understand pt. 2 of this post... How has Lana pushed him to become Superman? He was already doing stuff before her.
4. Hmm. I don't really know what to say to this. I suppose it was her idea.

It must pain you to see Clark's soulmate be none other than Lana Lang.

Power and Requiem were the worst episodes I ever saw on this show. They're lower than Thirst and Spell. Sorry, but when you have Superman looking like nothing but a pathetic bafoon so that his high school girlfriend can have a heroic sendoff something is dreadfully wrong! I suppose in some twisted way it's fitting that Lana ended up being poison to him, because that's all she ever was to his character anyhow.

Honestly, the people who wrote those episodes should be fired. I was embarrassed for Tom Welling seeing him have to act out this script. I cringed, literally cringed. Just terrible.

The writers need to do some damage control and fast.

It's not painful at all for any Superman fan. Lana Lang may have been his first love in high school, but his ultimate and greatest love is Lois Lane. This arc was so utterly ridiculous you can't take it seriously at all. I don't see it as any sort of threat to Clark and Lois' relationship. The storyline was laughable at best, and the forced notion that Lana Lang will ever be anything more than Pete's future wife is ridonkulous!

Come Infamous, the writers can get back down to business, Superman business that is!

don't get me wrong I love SV but it makes me so mad to see clark regress instead of going foward towards his destiny.

2. although they haven't been together all those 8 yrs. clark's unhealthy obsession towards lana makes me feel like they've been together for the whole show.
3. don't you get it? lana told clark that she has to go away, he wants her to stay and feed his obsession, if lana stays then clark would never look at lois, he would be too busy following lana even if it's from a block away.

Yes the writing on these episodes was bad, especially because it appears that they wrote these episodes to appease "fans", and not to advance the story. But hell all great shows have down moments. What I hate is that this episode arc almost requires them to write Lana back in (if we go to season 9), so that Clark can grow past her and show it.

Hopefully, the remaining episodes are so awesome they make us forget about this abomination. It almost seems like it was written and filmed as an afterthought, it's so out of touch with where this season was going, and it just dropped Lois and Jimmy off the face of the earth.

How has this episode written to appease fans when everybody's ticked about it? It would have been more appeasing to fans if they'd done... Exactly what people wished they'd done...
