Is Lana really gone?

I honestly don't think we've seen the last of Lana Lang. The way the episode played out. They left a huge opening for Lana return. I wasn't convinced at all by the closure. Sure they can't touch each other anymore. But come on seriously they retconned Lana all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if she shows up next season. With a new storyline and have Clark get down on his knees again.

I don't think Lana is really gone. The writer's did not end the relationship with closure and left the door open for her return whether there is a cure found for her or not. They just cannot give up on Clana it seems.

I would like it if Clark and Lois got together (lol nobody kill me hear me out first) becuz i too like a lot of ppl did NOT want Clark and Lois to get together since lois would be seen as a rebound or second best. But if Clark and Lois do fall together, and Lois would be the only one in Clarks life and got married, it would be cool if Lana was able to neutralize the green kryptonite, some type of temporary thing like with the blue k bracelet or something. and for her to come back for a season finale (hopefully clark and lois' wedding;) it would show that Clark really DOES love lois and wants to be with her and that she is not his rebound or 2nd choice. here clark and lana would have parted off on teh good terms they were meant to have and they would have peacefully parted with no sad/hard/etc feelings.

Doubt if this would happen but I can always dream.

Me too. I'd want her to come back just so we can get real closure...but of course that's what I thought this arc was supposed to do and boy was I wrong.

I have a feeling she will loose her powers at somepoint... Or she will become clean again; remember how high voltage removes the effects of kryptonite; she will get struck by a high voltage at somepoint and be neutralized

I don't think that she'll return, unless they do it for the series finale (which I think WOULD be appropriate). Considering how important both Lana AND Lex have been to Clark's development on Smallville, I think it'd only be fitting for KK and MR to agree to come back to finish the show. However, if Lana DOES come back, it'd better not mean another "return of Clana" mess like we got this season. If that's what they'd be planning in bringing her back, then I'd rather Kryptonite Lass continue her do-gooder deeds elsewhere.

Don't worry about that, if she comes back again to stop destiny, i'm sure Lois won't step back and head off to Star City again, she'll knock the wind out of Lana Lang, cause, unlike Clark, she can get close to kryptonite.:cool:

if clois happens this season it will be epic fail bcuz we all know that it would take alot longer than the last 8 episodes for him to get over lana.In fact, i dont think he will ever be over lana bcuz they have put so much time into developing their relationship that he really couldnt feel about anyone else(including lois) the way he does lana.Sorry but their just not enough episodes left in the series to make him fall in love with lois and forget lana.this isn't the comics so he doesnt have to do exactly what he does in them which smallville has already proven.
