It wasn't 53. It was closer to 38.

My monkey has an endless supply though. :lol:

No...I actually enjoyed the episode. I just remember him saying "after 53 claps it will explode" and I had a quick thougt of "Oh...is that how you're going to waist the rest of the episode? We get to sit here and watch a monkey clap!" :rotfl:

So fast monkey= good. :p

I made my husband watch this episode with me to hold my hand. He counted and starts going that's 53 before Oliver even got loose. I loved the monkey.:)

The monkey was kind of cute... and I think it was over 53. Shows that Requiem will be remembered for the Monkey, can't get any better than this or can it? :rolleyes:

Why would Toyman START the monkey clapping and then STAY? That is the part I can't get over, especially when the dang monkey was clapping so quickly.

I stopped counting at 50 because I got distracted by what was going on in the scene. I'm quite sure that monkey clapped more than 53 times.

The instant he said 53, me and my brother looked at each other quickly and started counting. I don't know what people are talking about with 35; I counted until 60 and then got distracted after I realized the prop guy/editor honestly didn't think anyone would count.

BUT OBVIOUSLY WE ALL DID! :D

yeah it was near 50 when he said it was at 38 or whatever. That monkey was clapping pretty fast and you couldn't hear it for a while but if you kept the rhythm in your head it was way over 53. This always happens with bombs and timers though in shows. Shows the clock at 20 seconds, shows a bunch of action, then comes back and the clock is at 16. TV time is different than real life apparently.
