Smallville being X-Men??? (Seen on Requiem)

After watching the episode I realized that there are 2 things that they just took out from X-Men films or maybe its just coincidence...

1. Lex was just like Charles Xavier using Cerebro.

2. Clark and Lana last kiss was just like Rouge and Bobby (Iceman) kiss on the films.

What do you guys think about this?? Post your opinion.

Come to think of it, wasn't Lana stopping the destruction like Rogue in the first movie strapped to the machine??

I thought you were refering to the silver balls in the board room that turned out to be the bomb. That reminded me of the same style ones on Magneto's desk in X-men. Both sets were not acting like normal ones do...
