What the hell happened to these two characters? Unbelievable.

I like the conflict that's going on, its dark and much more realistic than the pure altruism we've come to expect. And you have to appreciate Oliver referring to what Chloe did back in Identity.

Even if she cared that her husband is lying in a hospital room she just serves no purpose in the storyline any longer. She can't be hanging out with Clark helping the poor, helpless soul solve crime while her husband is at home. Now the only one who know's CK's secret is Oliver and Chloe. It's time for Chloe to be written out.

I like them as a team. They're both complex, self-conflicted, obsessed. And they're very fun to watch.

Did you not read the spoilers for future episodes?
Chloe is needed. ;)

You know what? I like Chloe and Oliver together. When I hoped that Chloe would become WatchTower for the JL, I didn't think that Chloe and Oliver would be a couple but they should dump the Chlavis crap and put Chloe with Oliver and have her fulfill the WatchTower role.

I liked their discussion on the morality of destroying evil. I also appreciated Oliver bringing up Chloe's murder of the MF in Identity. It made for some compelling issues being brought to the surface.

Actually, I think Clark should kill Doomsday and Chloe hook up with Oliver and serve as WatchTower for the JL with him.

Then why have her marry Jimmy? Does he stay home and cook for himself?

I'm not sure of what you think, but if you rewatch Ollie's last scene with Chloe, like people said before, he really doesn't seem like himself.

- His expressions look a lot like Lex's
- He lowers his voice like Lex does, and seems to be threatening Chloe over the video of her killing Sebastian.
- He completely manipulates her feeling towards Clark, his safety and her loyalty.

That scene was REALLY suspicious, maybe I'm wrong but I'm convinced that PS3 wanted to give us hints about what happened to Lex and Ollie. Maybe one of the most important scenes of the episode.

What do you think?

wow... what if Ollie was the one killed and not lex.

Oh..I don't think Oliver got killed. I hope so. He's gotta be somewhere.

Suspicious is one word. I've got a few others that I'm not allowed to use on this site.

I don't know maybe they are setting Ollie to be the new villain billionaire for season 9. I mean MR is not so willing to come back so Ollie could fill his place.
Is contrived and there is not real reason for him to be evil now so it means that is totally possible in this show.
Chloe could be the new Lana trapped helping Ollie just to protect Clark.

If you and xrayvision are right, it would explain Ollie's behavior. Hmm.

If Oliver buys a head blade, you may be on to something.

I can't understand why they are taking this turn with Oliver.Maybe they are setting him up to be a villain. He was holding the Kryptonite ring rather ominously...

Unfortunately for Oliver, I think that a lot of what he did in this episode was in character for him. This is a guy who went down to Cuba and put an arrow through a doll who he thought was Lex without any hesitation.

Oliver a.k.a. Lex in disguise controlls both Queen Industries and Luthorcorp, after mysteriously being the only survivor at the shareholders meeting he himself arranged. He is the most powerful billionare right now, and Lex just went up in flames like some unimportant FOTW? I think not.

I think Lex is holding the real Ollie somewhere hostage and has disguised himself to look like Oliver. And now he has the kryptonite ring. So obvious.

The writers have something in store for Oliver. That's obvious. Besides, he's gonna be absent for the majority of the following episodes.

You know, I thought he was acting more than odd, myself.
Good explanation.

I think it would be cool to see the two hook up. If not more scenes together please!

I totally didn't see that watching the ep but thinking back (particularly to when Ollie/Lex is holding the signet ring - by the way was that supposed to be Kryptonite?) it does seem very possible. If so when do we think the switch happened? I am going to say after he left the hospital with the monkey bomb and after Lex Vadar's speech on the rooftop. I reckon he was captured before he could kill/capture Lex and then whatever has happened, happened (diguise, body swap, whatever).

Allison and Justin have off the charts chemistry together. But even as a Chlollie lover, I had mixed feelings about their scenes. I love the Chlollie bonding, but not in this way at all. It made both characters, who are supposedly heroic, look really bad. I want Chlollie, but not like this.

That's what I mean! Off the charts chemistry! And Oliver seemed to like being close to her as well!
