This may be Kristin's last episode of the series, if she decides to never return even for the series finale.

I will address my post in the form of a letter to Kristin.
Kristin,
You seem like a nice person who is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. I never had any problems with you as an actress. You did the best you could with what you were given. But in all honesty, I can't really say that I am sorry to see you go. Lana Lang does more harm then good to the show at this point, as it has been shown since your return in the last 5 episodes. The writers put Lana on the same plane as the future Superman, and brought back romance between Clark and Lana once again when they had spent the first half of the season laying the groundwork for Clark and Lois. As a whole Lana coming back has made the progress of the show come to a standstill. Especially in regards to Clark and his overall attitude. I am sorry, but this doesn't sit well with me. Even you when reading the script must of been thinking "What in the hell are the writers doing?" As I said before, this is nothing against you personally. I mean as a whole, I never hated the character Lana Lang. It was more along the lines of hating the writers for what they did to the character.
So I wish you the very best in your future endeavours.

I'll miss Kristin, that's for sure.....looks like RingzTerritory is an amazing actor/actress
Ah well.
She has a great career ahead of her, starring in such oscar-worthy fair as "Streetfighter: the Legend of Chun Li". Maybe they'll even make a "EuroTrip 2"!

KK as Lana Lang had her place on Smallville, as well as the Superman mythos. Now however, it's time to move forward in the show that is about Clark Kent's journey to becoming Superman, and I for one am ready to get back to that direction.
KK will continue on marvelously in her acting endeavors I'm sure.:)
So long...farewell.

I love KK and her acting, but the writers ruined the character of Lana Lang. I've always liked Lana, but I haven't really since the end of Bulletproof when her and Clark got back together. To me, in Bride, it looked like there was potential that Clana could be "just friends" for once, espicially after Lana's line to Clark: "Maybe Clark Kent and Lana Lang just weren't meant to end up together."
But they ruined all of that with the kiss at the end of Bulletproof and Clark deciding that he can be both a hero and be Lana's boyfriend for the [fill in the blank] time :(

Okay can't fix and change the past. Hopefully Kristin gets a honorable send off so we all have a satisfying closure. Not some funky/tacky kind of closure between Lex and Clark from last season's finale.

Good luck Kristin. I hope to see you in other series or forms of entertainment. I am also grateful that you put up with the bizarre plotlines and humiliating portrayals that Al/Miles and company hung on you.
Please come back in the series finale as Lana to give Clark and Lois your best wishes.

vyperman7 has written exactly what I think. I have a kind of fondness for Lana but "power" was definitively not possible. I can't imagine this result was what you and Lana character deserve. But it seems to be your choice with the writers so ...
I wish you many other success in your career of course but in your life too. Your plans for the future seem to be very interesting for helping people. I think it is wonderful to use your fame to help others. It shows a good heart and that what matters the most:)
PS : if you want to go to Paris, just tell me, this time I will be here to welcome you lol

Aw! I can't believe this is the last time we might see Lana on Smallville. I can't say I have always enjoyed her storylines but I've definitely enjoyed seeing you Kristin. Smallville lucked out with it's casting and you'll always be remembered fondly by me. Here's hoping your career goes from strength to stregth.

Kristin-It was never you I disliked, it was how Lana was written. I wish I could be sad at the fact that this is your last episode as Lana Lang. I remember way back when in 2001 being so excited for the start of Smallville. You have been a great Lana Lang; if she were better written, I might be wiping a tear. It has definitely been a rollercoaster ride, but they all come to an end sooner or later. Good luck and hope to see you in the future. Reserving judgment for tonight to see if I want to see any more of Lana Lang. But I doubt it. Sorry.

Kristin, I will really miss you on this show! Smallville is really different without you playing Lana Lang! I really hope you'll make an appearance in the series finale! ;)
I hope Street Fighter will be very good (I'm sure) and I wish you good luck in the rest of your career :) I also think the project you're currently working on is really cool :D Keep it up!

So I'll miss you presence for the number of episodes that you are gone, but don't forget to come back as Lana Lang close to the series finale and remind Clark of where is heart truly lies -- with you. Best of luck in all future endeavors!!!! Exit Lana Lang, Enter Chun-Li!!!!!!!!!!
My sincerest apologies Miss Kreuk, my Lana hatred is not directed at you, just at the character. It isn't your fault that she was the way she was, but with what you were given, I'd say you turned an awesome performance as Lana and I know you will be an excellent Chun Li!!!!

I'll be there to see KK in the Chun-Li film... with popcorn. Unless I hear something really bad about it before I get there. Then I'll see her in my living room via netflicks with popcorn. LOL! But I think I'll see it in the theater.
As far as this episode goes, she did a great job. I especially loved some of the more subtle moments. Lana's less sentimental that Clark but she did love him. I liked her embarrassment about the bed, her preference for crime fighting over sunsets, the way she rolled her eyes at Clark when he waxed nostalgic over her necklace and the way she cried after the Kryptokiss. Not an ideal send off IMO, but so much better than the goodbye DVD. If her fans are happy, I'm happy. LOL! They are the ones that really count in this matter. A lot of things are left unresolved regarding Lana's character and morality. But Lana has her own story and over the course of her life... this issues can be addressed.

I'll miss Kristin, she is ridiculously attractive and a good actress. I'll even miss her character, although not a whole lot. If I were her I'd be pissed at the writers for bastardizing her character.

I fell in love with KK in the very first episode and although she lost that gorgeous puppy fat that made her face so beautiful in S1-5, she remains a stunning woman.
You did a great job with some mediocre directions chosen for Lana Lang, and I still reckon you are the best crier in the show. Your performance when Lex told you you had lost the baby is still a standout for me.
Thanks for the memories and good luck in your future career and passions.

KK seems like a lovely person and she is a fairly good actress who with a little work and experience could become even better. I enjoyed her acting on Smallville, even though the character was completely annoying to me. I have nothing against KK and I wish her best of luck in all her future work. I am sad, however, that she had to come back for these degrading scenes we've been witnessing in the past episodes. She deserved better than that.

I'm honestly going to miss her, the realization that this would and probably will be her last episode hit the start of my day and made me sad for a moment. She was perfect for her character and I couldn't really see anyone else play Lana Lang the way she could.
Good luck to Kirsten and all of her future endeavors. The Notebook Reopened perhaps? j/k.

I'll admit, I got teary eyed but I didnt cry, yet. I probably will later, I can never cry in front of my family, it's just a thing with me.
I just couldn't help it, it was so emotionally exhausting and so tragically sad! It broke my heart!
I thought I was well over the Clark and Lana thing, but that last scene was so sad!
I agree it's time Lana left, I thought I was finally over them being together.
I thought just maybe I could put it behind me.
I was wrong.
But a true shipper love never truly dies, the flame just dims until something is added to rekindle it.
I've always loved Clark and Lana together, they've always been and always will be my favourite Smallville couple. That first scene in the graveyard, October 16th 2001, made me fall in love with them as a couple and helped me love the series for as long as I have.
It's been almost a comfort to depend on their rollercoaster love over these past eight years, even thought you watch knowing who Clark will end up with and yet you can't help but think...maybe THIS time, they'll work it out, you know.
Like maybe the writers will change the "Smallville" storyline and let Clark and Lana be happy and live happily ever after together.
Just because I KNEW this was coming, doesn't make the emotional heartache I feel for them any less but it makes me miss THEM more.
Goodbye Lana Lang / Thank you Kristin Kreuk
For my high school life, you were my role model.
For my teen - young adult life, you were my friend
For my adult life, you were a tragic and beautiful comfort.
I'm 21 now and this show has changed my life, more than you will ever know.
Thanks For The Memories, I'll Miss You.

Kristin Kreuk.... Hmmm, funny story, I watched Snow White and the Seven Dwarves on Hallmark waaay back in 2000, then one fine night in 2001, my big sis and I were fighting over the remote... And she was flipping channels between two shows, and she told me the one with the "cute guy" (Welling) had Snow White in it..... I agreed to watch as I was mesmerised by Kristin Kreuk's face... It was the Episode "Metamorphosis" and from then on I was hooked!!
Never missed and eppy... I have become a hopeless devout Smallville fan, realising there was more to the show..... So I have to thank Kristin Kreuk for this "find" of mine..... And also Thank her for delivering the best she could in Lana Lang, one of my most favourite TV characters...... She truly portrayed Lana in a beautiful way.....
I wish her all the best in Life!!! And I would be absolutely thrilled to see her again if she would ever return for an episode or two..... Good-Bye Lana Lang!!!!!
