I hope she gets at least fifteen minutes tops screentime. I don't think I can handle another Chlark deprived episode. :(

I love their relationship. Everyone can't build a friendship like this. :)

You know what, Justin Murad? You're right. Everyone can't build a friendship like that.
/emote goes out and finds a handful of somewhat unskilled writers, commissions them to write a story for his life that brings at least half a dozen friends like Chloe into his life; he then sends a post card to "Justin Muard" that reads:
'Thanks, mate. You're right. Those kinds of friendships can't be built. People need an author to write them into their lives. Woot! Desires brought to life through the power of the pen! :D

I don't think so either Kelly. If we get a good Chlark scene, I'll be pleasantly surprised but I'm keeping my expectations low.

I think it will be very much focused on Lana and Clana but I do hope that we get at least one nice scene.

Personally as much as I love Chlark, I don't want there to be any Chlark scenes tonight. Chloe should be with Jimmy at the hospital. Any wife who truly loved her husband, a newlywed especially, would be at her husband's bedside morning, noon, and night until he was better. The fact that Chloe just goes on with her normal routine really bugs me. If we have Chlark tonight, it is yet another episode in which Chloe isn't with Jimmy.
I still don't understand how the writers can just look past the fact that Chloe hasn't really spent anytime with Jimmy at all. I know the writers expect us to assume that Chloe is seeing Jimmy off camera, but viewers only know what they can see, and Chloe is coming off like an uncaring, selfish, character. What bugs me the most is that Chimmy is the cause of it.

The writers are detailing Chloe's visits with Jimmy.
She went to see him in Legion. In Bulletproof, Clark said he was glad to catch her before she left to see Jimmy. Chloe emphasized that she wanted to get back to the hospital to be with Jimmy.
This doesn't sound like a wife who lacks concern for her husband.
Legion
I'll feel even better when I get to Star City to see my husband. I'm relieving Lois of her nursing duties.
I'm just glad he's okay.
In this scene, we have Chloe packing clothes, books, photography magazines, and a camera for Jimmy. She even baked cookies for him.

Bulletproof
Clark: I'm glad I caught you before you left.
Chloe:I just want to get back to the hospital before Jimmy wakes up.
The dialogue and the props in Bulletproof indicate that Chloe returned to to SV and Isis to pack additional items and return to hospital. Clark must have just caught her before she returned. She didn't specifically return to visit Clark, he caught her by chance.
If you look at this cap you can see that there is a carry on bag and and a suitcase with baggage claim tags. That means that Chloe packed for an extended stay in Star City.

ON TOPIC: I wouldn't be surprised if the Chlark scenes were all about Clana.

I really enjoyed the Supermanish scene between Clark and Chloe when he was practically lecturing her on right and wrong. It was a GREAT changeup FOR ONCE!!!!
I also liked how Chloe gave in and said "here". She was spot on and oddly, I never saw that side of her. It was a new emotion or something. It was cool.

I really loved the whole scene where Chlark was discussing killing villians. I'm glad Chloe finally yelled at Clark about the Lex drama. I loved how you could see that Sebastian was on Chloe's mind during this episode especailly when she was with Clark and Oliver. I'm wondering if Clark will ever find out about that Oliver and Chloe have killed someone for him.

Clark was going to kill Lex because he couldn't be with Lana, & he still hasn't told Chloe he put in danger from Doomsday/Brainiac with his own mindrape.
Clark giving lectures to Chloe about morality right now is offensive. He needs to look in the mirror.
And Oliver accusing her of killing Sebastian. It was shown onscreen to be Brainiac.

completely agree with you!
Clark comes off as a hypocrite, & until he acknowledges what he did to Chloe, he has no moral highground.

I liked seeing them together almost arguing on Oliver's plane. But Chloe shouldn't have given Clark the information on the Toyman, I think.

Is it me, or was Ollie pimping Chlark?

Oliver's opinion is what set up that Clark scene in my eyes. Ollie manages to manipulate Chloe's feelings for Clark and she helps Oliver hunt down Lex. When Clark confronts her later, he's able (1) know Chloe is hiding something and (2) convince Chloe to help him instead.
Clark mentions that when Chloe was Chloiac, he choose not to kill her, even if it meant losing the world. I find that to be an interesting contrast that Clark choose give up Lana for the Planet's sake.
Chloe is completely gray to me right now, but the one thing I did get, was that Chloe's feelings for Clark can be used to manipulate her to the point of murder. Chloe still loves Clark. PS3 is starting the gradual push towards Chlark imo. They tear down Clana (this really could have been done better) and begin setting up Chlark as a possiblity.

Wow, Sue Denim, it'd be nice if you were right, but I don't see much possibility of that with Chloe being married and Davis liable to try to make a comeback in his odd relationship with Chloe. I think you all pretty much made all the points I would have made, so well-spoken.

i'm glad Lana's finally gone away for goooood!!!! imagine if they had kept her around for season 8 as clark's sidekick..or the 'power couple' as oliver puts it...how do you think chloe would feel??i'm sure she'd be chuffed..she's been clark's rock for the past 7 seasons and the real sidekick he deserves with or without powers..she's way better than super lana.just because lana's got powers, clark chooses to go hunting villains with her??...not fair.

I wanted to post this inthe Clark/Chloe thread, but I'll post it here because it pertains so adequately to "Requiem".
If Chlark had been the ship and Chloe in the super!suit, I don't see how Chloe would pull a Lana and leave Clark. Chloe's willing to sacrafice herself and go through something hard--see Clark daily but can't touch him--Lana scampers away.
Chloe would never do that.

I agree! I actually liked Requiem too because of Chloe's characterization. IMO, Chloe spent that whole episode drifting, unsure of who to trust, what to do, or how to proceed. FINALLY, after episode after episode of Pod!Chloe who doesn't feel or react like Real!Chloe, we got much more than a blank stare or a serene smile-- there was real emotion, as usual, brought out because of Clark. Ollie knew how Chloe would react, and when she told Clark anyway, he upped the ante and used Sebastian against her.
Well, think Chloe would do anything to protect Clark. And Oliver sort of knows this because he saw what she did as Chloiac to save Clark and stow-away Kara from the PZ. Chloe still loves Clark, and because Ollie does manipulate her, she sort of looks a bit gray to me now.
If Chloe is protecting Clark, then this throws new light on the pet monster in the Talon basement. I don't think Clark knows Dooms will be in the basement of the Talon.
