If the Hatian and Pete had not showed up when Sylar was going to confront Arthur, who would have won?

He would have cut Sylar head open with his own power

I think Sylar because Arthur was too airy

Sylar. The only person that seems to be faster than Sylar is Hiro and this was before he took Hiro's power right?

Once Author stop time Sylar would just be easy to kill. I always thought it would be kind of hard for him to get Hiro powers because whenever he's about to cut his head he could just teleport or stop time.

I think Sylar win because even if Arthur stop time Sylar can unstop it like he did it in first season when Hiro atacks him in moment of killing Virginia Grey

Perhaps you might be right, but I have the season one DVD and have watched that scene a few times. It is my opinion that it wasn't Sylar that "unstopped" time, but Hiro's faltering and hesitation that caused time to resume.

I think Arthur would win because of his power levels

They probably would'nt have even fought. Aruthor would have probably used his mind control abillity to override Sylar lie detecter. He would be like I am your father then Sylar would say dammit your telling the truth, I killed Elle because of that dame HRG.

If Peter or the Haiten hadn't been there Syler would most likely have had the aspect of surprise in his side, as Arthur didn't know Sylar was there to kill him.
but I think the argument that timetravel trumps all doesn't really work, otherwise Hiro would have been able to avoid loosing his powers, which says to me (combined with the way he does it) that it does take a good degree of control on his part so if he's distracted or engaged it limits the use of his ability.

Arthur Petrelli will easily win this fight he absorbed Peter's powers so he could absorb, mimic, and had IA.
First off he got telepathically make Sylar help him unlock IA, then freeze time, and absorb Sylar's powers. Then proceed to killing him with a lightning bolt.

Didn't Hiro was learning his powers when he first faced sylar??
The chances Arthur winning is more but never underestimate Sylar as it never been easy to any super hero to take him down..
Sylar was always lucky and Arthur is powerful, It would have really fun to watch such fight..but i don't think we are anymore lucky to enjoy such scenes.:(
