This just came to me.
Wouldn't an ingredient used in the experiment Promethius be Kryptonite?
I mean in just about every experiment shown on Smallville hasn't Kryptonite been involved?
So wouldn't Lana's new "skin"? Be deadly to Clark
Wouldnt he have feinted when they kissed at the end??? haha =)
I don't really know.

I think you are right. Lana should already have kryptonite embedded in her skin right now. I guess it is a plot hole.

It was made through alien DNA, not kryptonite.

Yes, but even with the alien DNA doesn't Lex have kryptonite in all of his experiments?

I don't know if my questios is right in this thread but I don't really get this Prmetheus thing. Does Lana only have those powers when she is wearing the suit she wore in the scene in the lab or does she always have those powers because of the treatment they did to her skin? It would be nice if anybody can answer this :-)

its apart of her skin and not the black suit. later on she uses her powers infront of tess in the mansion and shes wearing ordinary cloths :-).
And just because lex uses kryptonite in almost all his experiments doesn't mean hes using it in this one, as mentioned before alien DNA was used instead.
its the same experiment as project Ares with that West guy in season 6 episode called prototype, i think.

The ADN could also come from the blood of that kid while he was possessed by the last phanthom. I think the last bit of Titan's DNA was used Wess and the other clones, the ones that drowned in the dam. That's why Lex was searching for the last phantom, because he ran out of Titan's DNA. They took a sample of blood from that kid just before the phantom replicated Clark. If that's the case, Lana's strength comes from her former lover and Clark's doppelganger. Interesting coincidence.
