i dont understand why they would give lana lang powers for half of this episode and then for the next episode. I think bringing lana back was a mistake because she interfered with the whole doomsday story. I speak for alot of us so far only 2 of her episodes were really good, bride and legion. I love lana lang in all of the earlier seasons, but i just dont understand how there gonna manage to finish off her story in 1 episode especailly with the ending of power. There is literrly 1 option of what will happen to lana and that is that she will die. But i honestly dont see that hapening. Next weeks episode looks crazy from the preview that i saw, Lex is BACK!, how ever its not Rosenbaum which to me is just plain out stupid. We Have Doomsday, why bring back Lex to overshawdow it?

I'm calling this right now based on the previews from last week and this week...
Lex places a dirty K bomb on the roof of the Daily Planet figuring it will kill Clark. With it being Kryptonite, Clark can not get anywhere near the bomb. However Lana can! So she can go in and be the hero for once, saving Clark and stopping the bomb, but she gets a heavy dose of Kryptonite.
That heavy irradiation of Kryptonite infuses her super power suit and basically makes her a walking & talking irradiated Green K Girl. Because she's irradiated, Clark can not get near her, which explains the preview with Lana in the bard saying something like, "We're both driven to good, even if we can't do it together" and Clark falling to his knees like he's weakened.
She sacrifices any chance of a future to save him. And goes off to be a hero in her own way for as long as she can.

You got it!
Breathlessly, " I'm doing this for us, for the world....."
Still don't know how Clark is going to get over Lana in 5 minutes and I'm reaching a point where I may not care....sorry I'm cranky about tonight..

How can we look at the Clark/Lois relationship the same after this mess? If she becomes a hero for Clark, won't Clark still do everything he can to try and help her? He wouldn't abandon her. To me, the only way they can tie this up neatly is by having Lana do something that in Clark's mind just cannot be justified. This would give him the out he needs. As for Lana, she might be able to come back from her mistake in the future and make up for it over time, but the Clana would be over.

I really don't understand why Smallville didn't keep the Lana we knew.
I she's had alot of experiences w/ her life, but not so much that she had to have this 360.
I used to love lana!
not that i don't like her now, it's just like she's not the same person.

...........& if that is how Clana end HOW can Clois ever begin on SV?:\
They need to make it be shown that Clark & Lana realize they may always love each other but they are not destined to be together & Lana needs to leave with Clark's blessing & a boot to the ass as she heads out the door!:p

I think if this happens then this whole mess could be redeemed. What do you think?

I just want to see Lex in the real Power Suit from the comics. Thought I saw schematic hints at it.
Lex plus Doomsday for the ending would be ok with me.

Sunny 8 - That, or something similar, is the only way this can be redeemed.

I don't understand how the writers can keep doing this to us. They bring back Lana and Clark becomes a wuss yet again. How can he be attracted to her? All that episode did was make me think she was some power hungry psycho. Even if they manage to somehow get rid of Clana once and for all, giving us Clois right after as if nothing happened is rediculous

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be WOWed next week by 'Requiem'? Wouldn't it be nice if all of us had to come back next week apologizing to the writers and TPTB because we were wrong? Wouldn't be wonderful if we all had to come back next week thinking that that was the best episode of the season and that the writers really were going somewhere fantastic with this arc? I am telling you now, I hope we have a lot of crow to eat next week. I'd be the first to apologize and I'd be so happy. Anything to put this show back on track to where it was at the first half of this season.
