What's wrong with it is that no one should be given the power of a 'God'.

Don't forget, the last time Lana had powers, she tried to kill Lex and tried to fight Clark. She's devious and has a underlying dark side. Lionel saw it, Lex saw it, even Tess saw it/sees it. Clark would see it but he's too busy being goo-goo eye'ed.
Exactly. So what makes her qualified to have such great power. It was natural for Clark to have these powers because he was born with them. Why is she so special? Where is the humility? To think you should have or be given the power of a God is nothing but ambition. The people who pursue power and take it, always end up being corrupted by that power. The people who are given power by lets say a higher being, birth right, external force, or by mere chance are supposed to have that power because it's destiny. Example: Green Latern.
But to take power just because you want, leads to corruption, another example Politicians. They start off by wanting fight for a cause or helping people but after a while power and authority consumes them.
