WOW. Lana and her story really captivated me at the 8:30pm mark. But THEN BAMM!!!!

Tess took the cake as THE most interesting character of the episode. I went from cold on her character ALL SEASON, to RED RED HOT.

I thought we were talking about performance? But because there are so many people that hate the Lana character that it totally blinded the fact that KK was the PERFORMER..performance...

I actually liked both their performances. I loved the fact that KK seemed more alive in this episode, she actually seemed to have liked acting for this show, GIRL POWER!! I felt it and saw it.. KK seemed so positive. I think she felt the Girl Power because her good friend AM directed this episode. Lana couldnt have perfomed because its the actor that performs..

Tess, whatever her real name is did a great job as well. She performed well, creating the feeling of the hate and confusion towards Lex. I loved the fact that KK gave positive input about not going over to the darkside, like Lara giving Lana. The two seem to have good chemistry feeding good energy towards each other. I actually love their scenes together.
Loved BOTH KK and Tess (dont know real name) performances.

Isn't lana in one more episode and then she's done. The lana story is ok, PS3 at least went back and explained how we got to this point. Lex' interest in alien dna/cloning, makes sense with the nanonite power suit.

Only thing i didn't like is lana being a hypocrite, one min she's telling clark he destined to save the world, then next she steals the power suit, and then tells clark they can be together cause she has powers now, then its like they kiss and make up.

I can see her using the suit to help others, and see this as her way to make clark realize what he needs to do and step up. Its possible something goes wrong with the suit, or she gets hurt, or gets it removed and leaves smallville for good. The one clip with clark falling to his knees in the bar with her must be in lana's last appearance, i hope this arc turns out well, and served a purpose in bringing her back.

I voted Chloe this time (and I DIDN'T in the last couple of episodes, so don't say I'm always biased by her). This is why I felt that way... She spent pretty much the entire episode caring about the feelings, safety, and needs of others, and in my opinion (other than the little Clana nod) gave Clark good advice.

An EXTREMELY close second place would be Tess. The only reason I didn't put her in the top spot was that extremely gross way she killed off Regan. Aside from that, I thought she had LOADS of character development, and rocked the house in "Power."

Clark was too busy being his mopey-over-Lana old self for me to care much for him this episode.

And Lana? She had some cool character beats in parts of it, but others... Bleh...

Tess was rock solid. And I'm liking Lana in this episode a lot more than in the previous seasons. I'm a Cloiser, but I really hope Lana doesn't die. Clana needs to move on, with some dignity and without crapping on Clos, but I don't think Lana needs to die.

And Kudos to Allison for the directing. This was a pretty good episode, despite the location of the kiss at the end.
