Firefly

In the Chuck fanfiction fandom there are many references to the show Firefly, that ran for only one season on the Sci Fi channel a few years ago. The reason being that Adam Baldwin played a character in that series that is freakishly similar to the character Casey.

Firefly is available to watch online and I've watched the first 4 episodes and I've really enjoyed it. (it proves that a very good show can still get canceled)

Any other Firefly fans here?

Casey plays Jane in Firefly and yes, the guy definately got type casted for this role, and it worked out very well.

I own serenity and picked up firefly on netflix. Seeing as Firefly got cancelled you wouldn't get the whole story from watching season 1. I suggest watching Firefly Season 1 and THEN picking up Serenity (motion picture) to view.


Serenity ties everything up, from start to finish. Would have been a damn good 7 years of shows had Fox not pulled the plug. Lets hope they don't do the same to Doll House.

yah I bought firefly when I saw it had adam baldwin from chuck and summer glau from Terminator:SCC in it then after watching it I had to go buy the serenity movie I really should watch them again its been a few months since last time I was in the firefly verse. Any other fans of both chuck and firefly I made a poll before about wich adam baldwin character would win Major John Casey from chuck or Jayne Cobb from firefly you should vote in that poll if you haven't already.

Firefly was an AWESOME show. What a creative take on the SCi fi/ western genre. I wanted to see Mal and Inara hook up on the show aftera few years of pining and banter. Damn them...lol

So....

I finished watching all the episodes of Firefly. (Glad I didn't watch them with the kids - a few were a bit too adult for my taste.) But those things aside, I really loved the characters. What a pity that such a great show got canceled!

I got Serenity from my local library and watched it. I didn't have very high expectations so I was really surprised by what a great movie it was! A bit predictable but still awesome. Was Serenity released to theaters???
