View Full Version : TV Ratings for "Power"

I sure hope not. I want Smallville to maintain it's numbers.
Power was not a piece of crap episode - it had some elements that the masses (at least from what I've seen on KSite) don't approve of, but IMO that doesn't make it a bad stand alone episode. I enjoyed it very much.

Hey, that's your opinion and you entitled to it just like I'm entitled to my opinion that it sucked, and it was a slap in the face to all Superman fans.

Well, that's certainly true that you're entitled to your opinion, and have noticed that there are plenty of people who agree with you. But help me understand, if you could please, why was it a slap in the face to Superman fans? I can see where some might think it's a bit of slap for Lois, but why to Supes fans? Am I not as loyal of a Superman fan just because I didn't think this episode sucked?

I'm not sure there's much of a point to arguing about why the episodes have gotten the ratings they did. Unless every person who watched the shows in question wrote in to say why, we'll never know.
How many people tuned in because of Lana?
How many people tuned in because of Lois?
How many people tuned in because of Kara?
How many people tuned in because of Clark?
How many people tuned in because of Chloe?
How many people tuned in because they was absolutely NOTHING else to watch that week?
How many people WOULD have tuned in if their cable hadn't gone out/television hadn't broken/VCR hadn't gone buggy/etc.?
How many people tuned in to see the director do his/her thing?
How many people tuned in because they want to keep the ratings as high as possible to get a ninth season - and this would have to include those people who dislike Lana and Clana but know that those two things wouldn't be an issue in the ninth season?
How many people tuned in because they didn't know what the heck the episode was going to be about and it was easier to keep it on the station than change it?
How many people tuned in because they saw the ads and thought Lois would actually be in these episodes?
How many people tuned in because they didn't know KK had left and so thought she might be in the other episodes?
How many people tuned in because of the off chance James Marsters might make an appearance as Brainiac?
How many people tuned in on the off chance Lex might show up?
How many people tuned in because they thought Smallville had been canceled already so they tuned in out of sheer surprise that it hasn't been?
How many people tuned in because they had faith that PS3 would write Clark well?
How many people tuned in out of curiosity to see the end of Lana's arc because, whether they like her or not, she's been on the show since the beginning so it's always something of a matter of interest?
How many people WOULD HAVE tuned in if they'd known what the episode was going to be about but didn't because Smallville's promotion is notoriously sucky this year?
How many people tuned in because Bones didn't air and they had to get their quota of hot maleness somewhere - and TW isn't exactly hard on the eyes?
How many people tuned in because they just didn't know what the episode was about and so expected it to be about someone/something else?
How many people tuned in because, even though they want to know how Lana's story ends, regardless of whether or not they're fans of her character?
Answer me all those questions and every other permutation you can think of. Remove all the non-shipper reasons, and then we can whip out the shipper fanbases to see whose is bigger. Fact of the matter is, people online make a much bigger deal out of ships and things than I think any rational non-message-board-visiting person in the world does. (And, yes, I recognize that I'm calling myself irrational, because I'm posting on this board, too.)
The argument can go both ways. Lana fans will scream, "It was all because of Lana!" AM fans will scream, "It was all because all the AM fans - even ones who aren't religious watchers of the show - tuned in to see her directoral debut!" And, hell, a number of Clois fans will scream, "People tuned in just to keep the numbers up for a 100% non-Lana season!" And all of them will be partially right and partially wrong.
And, of course, next week if the ratings go down, everyone's story will change. One group will blame the return of "Bones." One group will blame Lana. (Okay, more than one group will probably blame Lana. ;)) One group will point out that AM's not directing the episode.
When Lois returns, the arguments will all start up again, too. Is everyone watching because of Lois? Is everyone who DIDN'T watch not do so because they've been misled one too many times by the promos so they didn't actually believe she was in this one? Did they forget it was airing because of the non-promotion following the hiatus? Did a wolf howl at the third strike of the clock on a windy day in Toledo and so X, Y, and Z should be blamed for it/credited for it?
Yes, of course people tuned in for Lana. And yes, of course people tune in for Lois, or for Chloe, or for Davis, or for (shock of all shocks) Clark. Anyone who thinks that there's a single character out there who doesn't have their share of fans clearly hasn't taken a good look around at the fandom. But anyone who wants to lay the credit - or the blame - for the ratings on one character's feet also needs to have a good hard look at the numbers. If Lana were single-handedly responsible for the ratings, all of her episodes would soar through the roof and all of the episodes without her would tank into oblivion. And that works for every other character - and, incidentally, every ship, too.

The 40% increase in women 18-35 is staggering and they turned out to watch Lana and Clark
__________________________________________________ ______________________
The CW has issued a press release about the ratings for the Jan. 29, 2009 episode of Smallville, "Power," and its performance in several key demographics.
-THE CW SCORES STRONG THURSDAY AS “SMALLVILLE” GROWS AND “SUPERNATURAL” HITS SEASON HIGHS

January 30, 2009 (Burbank, CA) – Against a special Thursday “American Idol” and an original episode of “CSI,” The CW scored one of its best Thursdays of the season, matching the season’s best Thursday with women 18-34 (1.5/4) and matching the second best among adults 18-49 (1.7/4), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Thursday, January 29, 2009. The CW registered its largest Thursday audience (3.9mil) since 10/30/08.
Facing an original “CSI,” SUPERNATURAL climbed to season highs in women 18-34 (1.7/4) and women 18-49 (1.7/4), and posted its largest audience (3.6 million), and best adults 18-34 (1.5/4) and adults 18-49 (1.6/4) ratings since its season premiere.

How many tuned in to deprive Jonathan Ross of one viewer?

(Even though I cant really tune in, I like to think I do. Just add one to all ratings:))

What people have to remember is that an episodes ratings is usually due to the quality of the previous weeks episode.
If an episode is bad it is usually next weeks episode that suffers. Viewers dont really stop watching the current episode but make a point to miss next weeks.

The ratings went up because of all of the repeats, pretty simple.
I hate Lana Lang!
You can't compare this episode to any of the other episodes because all of the other episodes faced first run shows, the NFL, and the MLB playoff games. This piece of crap episode faced none of those.
You do know that Smallville trends very heavily in the male demo right. AI doesn't.
No pre-emptions, no sporting events against it, just a bunch of reruns and an AI episode.
Take this episode out of context if you want, but there were many things that helped this episode get inflated numbers. Next week Smallville will fall to unprecedented numbers.
This makes a lot of sense to me. For the first time, I'm actually thinking of not watching an episode this season, and that's Requiem.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if "Requiem" didn't have okay ratings at least. It IS Lana's last episode. There are some who adore her; there are some who loathe her. And there are some who are ambivalent about her. I think some people may tune in just to see KK's last episode...of course, that depends on whether they KNOW it's KK's last episode. If I were TPTB in the advertising department, I'd be promoting it heavily as just that very thing. It always seems to me in every show I've watched that the last episode featuring a character that was a regular gets a little boost in ratings. Everyone wants to see how that character is written off...and some people want to tune in just to say goodbye, either out of nostalgia or relief.

#10 Bride ~ *4.19 mil.
#11 Legion ~ *4.30 mil.
#12 Bulletproof ~ *3.85 mil.
#13 Power ~ *4.21 mil.
Lana returns in Bride, everyone goes holy **** I want to see next week.
Legion massive viewing.
However after everyone has seen what the returning Lana is all about Bulletproof crashes.
PS. Dont read too much into that.:D

 Well, I was thinking of it in more politic terms, but I suppose there's something to be said for that. Some people may watch to celebrate. If it makes you feel any better, though, I suspect that if Lois or Chloe were to die on the series, there would be a certain number of people breaking out the champagne.

The thing is I am afraid many people won't watch "requiem" because of "power". Honestly, if it was not for Clark and the rest of the story, I am not excited at all for the next epi. I just want to see this arc ended. You know, I think I can be indulgent but I really don't like being taken for a fool...And this is exactly what I feel about "power" (and I don't speak about Clana, I speak about the Lana storyline on itself). It was completely a shame

Yup. I'm a little worried about the post-Requiem ratings, frankly, because of all the people who have said, "Well, I'll give them ONE more shot...but if they screw it up like it looks like they will, I'm out of here."
Now, granted, not everyone who says that will mean it. Some will come back, regardless. But I think there will be some fans lost over this. I think there have been some lost, already. The fans who had stopped watching before Lana's return will probably stop watching again after she leaves; the fans who had stuck around throughout Lana's absence will, by in large, likely stick around as well. It's the fans who were brought BACK to the show and tuned in on the promise of something "different" who stand to be driven away if they've viewed episodes like "Power" as more or less the same old, same old.
*sighs* Then again, if they DO lose viewers in response to this arc (and they have lost some already), all I can say, really, is that they did it to themselves. :\

After Bulletproof people were swearing up and down they weren't going to watch Lana's remaining episodes and that for a fact they knew Power would do horrible in the ratings and look how that turned out. Not only did this episode do better than Bulletproof, the discussion in this forum is a lot more active than Bulletproof's. :rotfl:

 Well, I guess people complaining a LOT is still people talking, huh? There is that idea that any press is good press. I'm not surprised that people were swearing they weren't coming back and then did; I know a lot of people had genuine hope for a good arc for Lana that wouldn't screw up Clark and tuned in to "Power" on the hope that their faith would pay off. A number of those people have claimed they'll watch "Requiem" out of some fervent desire to see PS3 redeem themselves.
I personally don't think PS3 will. I don't think they can. I also think they have no intention of worrying about Clark's characterization as long as they can focus all their attention on making Lana look good. I mean, there were a NUMBER of ways that Lana's last arc could have been FANTASTIC for both characters while still being respectful of their past together that they could have gone with, but they decided to go with the door labeled "throw Clark under a bus" instead. *shrugs*
So I expect a number of people who are just about fed up right now to tune in next week out of some desperate hope that it'll turn out to be a dream, or Bizarro, or something along those lines. Personally, I give no such credit to anyone, as is their due at this point.
The problem isn't that some people have given up on Clois in Smallville, which is neither here nor there. The problem is that a number of people, it seems, have given up on Clark. And as Clark is the man sticking around and Lana is the one leaving, I don't see all of those people finding they have much cause to continue tuning in.

 When you put it that way, it makes me laugh. It's like someone pointing out that there wasn't much to talk about regarding "Sleeper." Since most people I spoke to said that they found it so boring that they almost slipped into a coma watching it, I'd say that the most conversation you could have would be 1) "What did you dream about when you fell asleep during the most aptly-named episode in Smallville's history?" and 2) "POLL: Did you drool on your pillow or manage to refrain from doing so when you fell asleep watching this episode?"

This is true. Well...maybe...Actually, I think people would always come on here to complain, even if they weren't still watching the show. Or to just have general discussions. I think that'd be likely for ANY show, but a show based off of a character as well-known and loved as Superman is just begging for that kind of response. People will stop watching...but they'll keep coming on here to talk about what SHOULD have happened and what COULD have happened and what MIGHT have happened until the internet explodes.

Alas, this is true, I can't deny it...particularly since I find I've posted less on this site during the first part of the season (that I really enjoyed) than I have in the past week (when I've been...less than thrilled, you could say). Maybe we all just go try to seek out like-minded people to vent to when we're unhappy and don't feel the need to have so many discussions about things when we're thrilled with the way things are going?

I'm pleasantly SURPRISED! And I'm sincerely Happy for Smallville's high Ratings, because I would honestly Love the series to go for 9 seasons. Except that RIGHT NOW, the way I really Feel about the show is this > > :( :\
Of course, at this point, I'm hoping the series' longer life will give it the needed Time to 'make this story Great again' according to what I'd like to see. I understand that we don't All want the same thing from watching the show, but I'm bold enough to say that what I want to see is Clark continuing to be Heroic and moving toward his Destiny as Superman ...AND I want to see Romantic CLOIS "on Smallville!"
During what has been, IMO, such a GREAT Season, how could I now feel like this? :( I HATE feeling this way! I'd like to go back to feeling the way I felt before the 'last scene in "Bulletproof"'. :D

Power wasn't really that bad of an episode. I think we might even see an increase in viewers because they want to see how this story continues. Most fans don't read spoilers so they probably have no idea that this will be Lana's last episode on the show.
The only thing that bothered me about the episode was the relationship between Clark and Lana. If it was Lois I would have given the episode a ten.

Well, I'm very glad that the ratings got up again and that the CW has taken notice. This way we're even more close to a season 9 confirmation. With "Bulletproof's" ratings I got really worried, but now with ratings up again and Lana finally leaving once and for all I'm sure that things will keep getting better for now on. And I bet that this year we're gonna get a better season finale than last year.

Honestly, it's like watching a train wreck. I can't not look, but I'm completely disgusted by what I'm seeing. But I have watched every single episode of the entire series...it's not like I can just stop watching when it's at the end. Woot! Notice when Clana is together, ratings go up, LOL.It'll be even higher when Clois hooks up! :)
So its the unnecesary angst and not the ship perse that determine´s the raitings??
I thought this episode would tank, fortunately I was wrong, I was angry last thursday and wished for the show to tank, with a cooler head I realized that if we dont get a season 9, this horrible Lana arc would be the prelude to the end of Smallville and I want a good prelude so i want a season 9 (No CLOIS though).
Also I was really worried that this intermision would ruin the raitings for the rest of the season, glad to see there´s a chance that wont happen.
Now there´s also much to say about this Lana arc, the truth is, as always its not Lana but Clana what IMO brings the whole thing down, I finally watched Power and although the superpowered Lana thing was horrible, I really liked that they explained some of what happened to Lana and such, Id say something similar as to what I said about Bulletproof, the end is what killed it for many. I think people who greaded the episode were really greading the last scene, which coincidentally, is like in BUlletproof a Clana scene.
I dont think ships define raitings, if they did Smallville would have been cancelled long ago cause lets face it, they´r ship writing skills is off the charts awfull.
Also i do think, not really having competition did help the raitings, I mean even Supernatural achieved a season high, so unless Lana, or Clana played a huge role in Spuernatural, I think its a pretty clear indicative that, it was not only the episode but the lack of options that triggered this rise in the raitings, specially amongst women who are usually watching UB, heck today I ended up watching a Telenovela with my friend´s mom cause there was nothing else going on, the question here is how much?? Would it have been more than Bulletproof or less??
Im happy with this raitings and I hope next episode doesnt tank, although I dont think it will, I predict similar raitings. I know next episode Im watching, i want to see the end of Clana, not in a sadistic way, were Ill enjoy Clana ending (although I am glad) but more in a " I want to know if Clana will get proper closure or will it be stablished as true love that just couldnt be". Also I want to see what´s the deal with the Lex thing and Toyman of course is always a good treat, although too bad he´s working for Lex.

But I think there will be some fans lost over this. I think there have been some lost, already. The fans who had stopped watching before Lana's return will probably stop watching again after she leaves;
They obviously arn't true Smallville fans then.
If they were true fans they would be loyal fans, stick it out through the thick and the thin. True fans would know that you cant have it your way all the time, and continue to watch the show even when their favourite character is absent or a disliked character steals the limelight.
Other fans have had to go through the same during previous seasons even though they have had to endure a character they dislike.
Proper fans should know what Smallvilles like, we've been watching it for 8 years.
Don't try and tell me that "true", and I emphasize that strongly, fans are going to turn off just because of the return of a well known character for a few episodes during the middle of possibly the last season.
Surely true fans would stick it out for a couple more episodes to the end, no matter which ship you support.
These supposed fans that are suddenly tuning off obviously arn't as big a fans as they think. They should be accepting that this is the way the story is going to pan out and enjoy it while it lasts. Surely they don't just tune in because of or lack of one person?
Anyway I always enjoy films more if they have a sad ending!!:)

I find it funny that when ratings went up for this ep, Lana had nothing to do with it, even though it was KK only front and center in the trailer that CW aired during commercials.
BUT if ratings go down, it's always Lana and Clana's fault.
How does that work? :rolleyes::lol:
It is funny the way you put and and also right, there is a double standard going on. Still I think a lot of posters like me that have been misinterpretated cause we admit hating Clana.
I hate Clana, I have no qualms in admiting it, how ever I think the main reason I thought this episodes would tank was thanks to the arc intermision, I mean all the arcs set up in the first half, were sort of put on hold to give way for a difernt arc. People would be lost and confused specially the casual viewer but in that sense that actually works in favor of Smallville, the casual viewers who are not up to date with what´s going on in Smallville, didnt see this as an intermision probably many were caught of guard by ´Lana´s reapearence, some didnt even know KK quit SV and thought Lana being out of the picture was part of the story and her return a natural progression, us that are informed about the happenings of the show know its only a 5 episode thing and that the arcs from the begining will be brought back to life once Lana is gone. I guess from the casual viewers perpective, this isnt an intermision, its a new arc spanwed and resolved amidst the season.
Anyhow, i would credit KK for the raitings increase if I had credited her for the fall in the first place.
That said, i still mantain that the Lana with superpowers plot is horrible, I still hate Clana with all my heart and I think that not giving them proper closure is horrible writing, oh and Lana didnt diserve to be praised by the Legion at least not for what she´s done so far.

I took the Lana arc one episode at a time. Here is why I ( A clark fan and I am also a clois fan) watched Power. Bulletproof was not bad at all. I watched a pro-active Clark in this epi. The ending didn't bother me as bad as I thought it would, so I went on to watch the next one. I felt, now looking back on after watching Power, that Bulletproof was misleading. That may be just me, I don't know. But the vibe I got from it, led me to believe that this was going to end in Power. The trailer for Power gave me signs of a possible ending. I didn't think Clark would accept her doing such things. Boy was I wrong. Clark in the beginning of this season, is not the same Clark I am seeing now. This whole arc was set up just like the season. The beginning of the season was misleading, pulling everyone into thinking Clark had let it go and then the arc happens. The beginning of the arc is misleading letting you think that Clark may be an adult about this and then bam, we are back to square one. I was fooled twice. The reason I state this is because I watched Power for closure. I didn't think they would drag it into her last episode. I thought I would see two adults come to terms with a relationship that never worked and realize that they should be friends. I had hoped to see them work together as friends. Well...obvioulsy that didn't turn out like I thought. So I feel stupid for believing. So now they have 45 minutes to clear up their non friend angsty mess.
This is the reason I watched Power...for closure. Of course these are my opinions and I am not sure if others felt this way. But I did.

I am happy that Smallville is getting recognized by its own network!! It took an episode like Power to get them to start talking, not that I think it was a horrible episode but it was just not what most of us were expecting.
LOL Kaam, you can tell it !;)

They obviously arn't true Smallville fans then.
If they were true fans they would be loyal fans, stick it out through the thick and the thin. True fans would know that you cant have it your way all the time, and continue to watch the show even when their favourite character is absent or a disliked character steals the limelight.
Other fans have had to go through the same during previous seasons even though they have had to endure a character they dislike.

I'm talking about the Lana fans who left when Lana left, came back to see Lana, and will leave when Lana leaves again.
I'll also have to say I love how people think they can define "true" fans. This isn't directed at you, but still…everyone watches Smallville for their own reasons, and everyone sees a different show. So the only "true" fans are the ones who stick around, even when it's crap? What about the people who leave when CLARK is written badly, demeaned, and wussified? Are they not "true" Smallville fans? Can they be "true" Superman fans? But isn't Smallville supposed to be about Clark growing and learning to be Superman? What a quandry!
How about the people who feel like Smallville's "jumped the shark" and is just no longer the show they once loved? Are they not "true" fans? Maybe they just don't see it as the show they loved any longer. Maybe they're "true" fans of the "true" Smallville? I think they'd probably see it that way.
By this logic, Clark can't be a "true" lover if he doesn't stick by Lana's side through thick and thin - when she lies, murders, steals, fakes her own death, and in general just acts like a Luthor. And yet it's just that behavior that pisses so many people off, so maybe this definition of what is "true" devotion isn't exactly a good one. Maybe showing "true" devotion can involve not sticking around when you're offered crap in return.
Just a thought.

The discussion is more active, and that's because the episode was so terrible! I bet we'll see the ratings go down for Requiem, because it's not being aired against reruns like Power did.

I consider myself a 'true' fan and 'proper' fan, but this is garbage that we're watching right now. By far it's the worst arc I've ever seen on this show. I've been watching since S1, so that's saying a lot.
I think the fans that will leave this show are the real Superman fans who feel insulted and stepped on. Personally, I am one of those Superman fans, and that's the reason I've watched this show. You can't seperate Superman from Smallville entirely, because this is the young Superman. His name is Clark Kent, and there are characters from the DC Comics and movies who are in this show. There are certain expectations from fans.
Are there some fans who are only Smallville fans? YES, and I believe those are the ones who do not care what happens in this arc or how it effects the more important storylines of this show. I will continue to watch, because Lois Lane is coming back, and I wouldn't miss seeing her again on SV. I will say though, that I don't blame some of the 'proper' or 'true' Superman fans for leaving if Requiem doesn't end with Clark finally manning up and realizing that he's not back at SV high anymore.
BTW, I like happy endings.

everyone watches Smallville for their own reasons, and everyone sees a different show. So the only "true" fans are the ones who stick around, even when it's crap?
Yes, because even when its crap deep down they still love it. They still love certain things about it.
What about the people who leave when CLARK is written badly, demeaned, and wussified? Are they not "true" Smallville fans?
Simply? No, they arn't Smallville fans, they're Superman or Clark Kent fans. Watching Smallville just for CK/Superman is silly really. Watching for any given character on their own is silly really. Loving Smallville is about liking all or nearly all the characters in the show, loving the way it is made, love the acting, even loving the sillyness of it sometimes. Loving it as a package not just discriminating on one character. Afterall the show is named after the town that "everyone" lives in. The show shouldn't be shunned just because some Superman fans dont like it, or one characters direction.
But isn't Smallville supposed to be about Clark growing and learning to be Superman? What a quandry!
I thought thats what it is showing, is it not? Tough luck if some dont like the Smallville version, other people do and in the end, if they dont like it dont watch it.
How about the people who feel like Smallville's "jumped the shark" and is just no longer the show they once loved? Are they not "true" fans? Maybe they just don't see it as the show they loved any longer. Maybe they're "true" fans of the "true" Smallville? I think they'd probably see it that way.
The "true" Smallville? Thats funny. So the one we are currently watching is the false one then. Im not trying to mock you, but again you cant just pick out the bits you love and say your a fan, even when you dont like most of the other parts. Smallvilles here as a whole and you either like it as a whole or dislike it as a whole. People who just like certain bits arn't Smallville fans they're ship fans. I think people who say this are quite selfish really. Wanting the show to go the direction they want, not stopping to think other people are enjoying the new direction of a different character altogether. Just because they arn't getting what they want doesn't mean other viewers arn't getting what they want. As you say 'the show they once loved'. Only when 'the show people once loved' is being said then the general concensus is that the show has dropped. Those people are quite biased I believe. What about the acting? What about the weekly storylines? What about the overall production? Increased maturity of the show? Has this all jumped the shark too???? I dont think so.
By this logic, Clark can't be a "true" lover if he doesn't stick by Lana's side through thick and thin.
Of course not, if he doesn't stick with her through thick and thin he obviously doesn't truly love her.
Maybe showing "true" devotion can involve not sticking around when you're offered crap in return.
What!!! How can it be devotion if you dont watch it?

Yeah! I really don't like the Bride Live+7 "hole" in my chart. Why don't we estimate it, based on the Season and post it as an estimation.

I'm sorry, but the 4,67 of Bride cant be the season Live+7 average, because the average of the nine first episodes was 4,75. If the average of the 10 first episodes was 4,67, it could mean that Bride only have 3,95 millions in the Live+7, and it is impossible, because this episode had 4.19 in the first numbers, and Smallville always grow up more less 0.6 in it's ratings in the Live + 7
So I think that the rating of 8.10 Bride was 4,67, and not the Season Average.
A Hug!

The best shows of Smallville in the last few years have been the ones where they took something for the actual Superman Mythos and put it on the screen.. Seems like the ones that dip or are argued as being awful are when they try and accommodate whining actors.
The Superman Mythos has been around for 70 years, and it will keep going long after Smallville is forgotten. Look at the successful Super Hero movies, far and away the most successful are the ones that stick to their source material. Justice remains one of my favorite Smallville episodes of that last few years.. and it seems like it had solid ratings as well as critical acclaim.. hmmm.

Overnights for a repeat of "Power".
"and a repeat of the CW’s Smallville (Viewers: #5, 2.03 million; A18-49: #5, 0.7/ 2)."
I think I enjoyed it even more the 2nd time. Allison did a good job!
FYI, In 1996, Superman: The Animated Series had a 3 parter "The Last Son of Krypton",
where Lex Luthor was shopping a prototype of a "Battle Suit" to terrorists. Wonder if this is where the idea came from?

So how did the repeat do in terms of viewers? Is that a good number? Also, how have other repeats of the season done? I'd love to see an episode by episode comparison.

Not bad for a CW repeat. SV usually does about 2 mil on the repeats. SV repeats often do better than most of the new episodes of other CW shows. SpN also does pretty good in repeats.
Feel free make a chart of repeat episodes, but, it will take some research. :)
