Hey, random question for all you Smallville all-stars out there who have seen or are at least relatively familiar with all eight seasons...
One could argue that the FOTW (Freak of the Week) element of Smallville ran its course and was rather annoying (or really aggravating) when it was overused, but one can't deny that the creators of Smallville did create some memorable and pretty creative meteor freaks that I'll bet many of you have wished would appear again, even for one episode.
So, which character in my poll would you most like to see make a comeback, whether as part of Tess's Injustice League, as a one-time baddie, or maybe even as a reformed character who'd end up helping Clark? Name your pick (or picks) and tell how you'd use them if they returned to the show. You can put down another option if you don't like any of the choices I gave you.
Happy posting!

The three Freaks from my list that I would most want to reappear would be the following:
1) Eric Summers - He was a cool villain who found a way to swipe Clark's powers, but it'd be neat if they were able to transform him more into the traditional Superman villain "Parasite," or something similar to that. Plus, it'd just be fun to have both Shawn and Aaron Ashmore on one show, and the funny dialogue that could result (i.e. Chloe: "Why do you look so much like my husband?!").
2) Emily Dinsmore - I just think her power set was so cool, especially when they enabled her to pass through solid objects. She was so mentally unstable, and became that much more dangerous and unpredictable when they added the intangibility to her super-speed. She could be one of the most deadly villains Clark could face, and she comes without a conscience.
3) Mikhail Mxyzptlk - I know lots of people didn't like that he was nothing like his comic book counterpart, but he was a rather cool and interesting character who really wasn't completely "bad." It'd be fun for Clark to run into him again while he's way over his head in some kind of organized crime/gambling thing, and ends up becoming brief allies with Clark.
*sigh* I wish they could bring Ryan James back, too, but there's no chance of that, unless maybe they did a continuity retcon and said that he really DIDN'T die in that hospital and was put in cryogenic stasis by Lex until they developed a cure. Then Tess found him and resuscitated him, or the Justice League did when they destroyed one of the 33.1 labs and didn't know who he was until they were able to bring him out of his stasis. Yeah, that would be cool, actually... I smell a fanfic...
