Must have missed this. Never saw this emphasized much. And now she's fighting like she's StormShadow's little sister or something... I don't know. Seems weird.

In Offscreenville i assume?
Because she's hardly ever gone all "ninja" on us since S2 when Lex taught her to defend herself.

It's just so unbelievable that it's comical! The entire assumption that Lana-Fu evolved over 7 months is so ridiculous. In all kidding aside, I really don't know what the writers were thinking!

I agree, the only thing I've seen since S2 is Lana's inevitable way of getting herself into situation after situation where Clark had to come to her rescue and deny his destiny.

That's true. I can almost here the Rocky sountrack in the background. She visits the Kent Farm to chase chickens because she needs speed. Burgess Meredith didn't really die in Rocky 3, he went to SV to train Lana.

Lana, I love you but . . .

Please stick with that Street Fighter thing.

I think it is great for you to come back, but to mess up the perfect raitings . . . I go Kung Fu on You!

At least she is here for two more episodes, and then she will be dead (I hope).

I was hoping for some series highs, but I guess we have to wait 3 or four episodes for Lana haters to become reattached. :(

Lana didn't mess up the ratings.

Exactly. Her character is being used as a scapegoat. I have said it a few times before, and I will say it again, Bones changing to Thursday nights at the same exact time as Smallville had an immediate impact on the ratings. Believe or not, there are many people who watch both shows.

Lana has nothing to do with Street Fighter.

KK does.

Lex taught her in Precipice after she was attacked by Andy Connors at the Talon. She spin-kicked Andy later in the episode.

She has used marshall arts numerous times in the series since.

Unfortunately, yes.

Football and Bones affect Smallville ratings, the return or departure of characters (with the exception of Clark, I dare say) not so much.

As for Lana being a ninja, that's just crazy talk but as was said martial arts has been an interest of hers for some time. Plus, don't forget that she has been gone for seven months of offscreensville.
