They are dragging it too long clark shouldve already entered the fortress and trained
it would be more interesting if this seasons main arc was clark training in the fortress.

The training is gone. Clark never trained in the FOS in the comics.
By the time this "Clark" fullfills his destiny, the Legion of Superheros will be dead and gone - LOL

In the last episode.
----- Added 2 Minutes later -----
IF this is the last season and they cram too much stuff into the season, then clarks final transition will probably be a last minute thing. After the storylines are wrapped up, it be lana that finallly tells clark to go and become superman, then clark goes off the fortress, then end. Once clark goes, he's gone for awhile, in the movie i think its 8 or 12 years, in smallville i assume it would be less since this clark is older than the one in the orignal movie. I think somone close to clark will push him to go and become the man of steel. this is the reason why season 9 shouldn't go on, because DD is on smallville, he should ultimately be the reason clark fully accepts everything and becomes superman. There really is no other villain you could bring in that could push clark to become sueprman, you bring in Darksied and you might as well ditch everything and bring in superman, The fact they've brought in superman villains, not clark kent villains is an IFFY situation if the storylines aren't written properly. But out of all the villains, considering clark on smallville is underpowerd/undertrained, DD out of anyone should be the final plot, storyline to make clark become superman, DD is the one villain that can basically take everything away from clark, considering how powerful DD is in the comics.

It's all do to Lana's return that has made Clark go backwards....he was moving forward till she came back!

How can you fulfill your destiny when you want to be with your high school crush and try to save the world???:lol:
Ya'll enjoy this interpretation of the Superman story, I'll stick with the comics and Superman movies with Christopher Reeve, who, now, will always be the ideal Superman IMHO.
My, my, my, imagine what he'd think of this re-write to the story after last night's episodes! Shameful!

Clark has gone forward leaps and bounds. I don't think Lana in two more episodes is making Clark move backwards. He has progressed too much for that. Lana has made progress as well and she is all for him saving the world. Remember, Clark is 21 and has some years to go to become Superman. A little time out for personal reasons once in a while isn't going backwards. People are giving Clark and Lana's kiss way too much credit as a road block. I think Lois' kryptonite kiss had more effect on Clark making him act less like Superman.

We only have 2 more episodes of Lana. With her forever gone he can get back to destiny fullfillment, he was doing fine up until she came back in Bride. Smallville won't use the fortress training its too late it doesn't fit. I do want some sort of disquise for him other than his red jacket, doesn't have to be full on cape and giant S, i'm not sure that fits in Smallville anyway, but something so the cops and reporters don't put 2 and 2 together.
