Sorry, I just keeping nitpicking at the throw backs that I keep seeing in these episodes.
*Bride* Chloe saying prom when it was the spring formal.
*Legion* Clana Reckoning image appearing in Clark's house, even though the timeline it was taken in isn't the timeline they're in now, so it never happened!
Now this episode Clark said after seeing Lana making coffee in the Talon that it reminds him of when they were 14 again. Clark and Lana were at least 15 when she opened the Talon, right? Only if Lana was turning 14 in Craving, that would had meant in the first few episodes of the series she was 13, that just seems so weird to me because Clark and Chloe were all driving in season 1, yet they were all suppose to be 14? I always thought they were all at least 15 in season 1!
it was prom and they were 16 when cause i was 16 when the show started so clark is 21 now
because they changed history
edited: wait they were 14 cause i was 14 when it first started i just check ahah

True, but it wasn't the Talon.

Normally when a person starts 9th grade they are 14, unless they have a really early birthday and happened to get an approval to start school early, and they turn 15 during that 9th grade school year. Lana probably was 15 by the time she got the Talon. But who cares? I mean Niad up here forgot how old they were when Smallville started...."edited: wait they were 14 cause i was 14 when it first started i just check ahah "

See the thing that gets me confused with the ages is that Chloe and Clark were driving in season 1!

They were fourteen.... Lana turned 15. They were fifteen by the end of the season. So it wouldn't be weird that they were driving.

I think it's great that they look back and appreciate the beginnings of the show as it comes to a close. It's fun for long term watchers. Sometimes...

They always mess up continutity LOL.. Just like the distance between smallville and metropolis. Oh chloe's mother. She was blonde when chloe first visited but brunette later. And they also messed up the ages chloe was when her mom left. One episode said she was 5 and another said 12?
Plus how can chloe be meteor affected? She was never in smallville before she was 12 years old? but her mom was controling her before that?
It just boggles the mind LOL

Well Lana was 15 when she opened up the Talon. So they couldn't have been 14.

In the pilot, Clark was 14. Lana was 15. In season 4 as seniors, Lana had her 18th birthday in the 1st episode before school began. When Clark was playing football, Jonathan said Clark was 17...Clark drove because he lived on a farm and you can drive younger without a license if you are using a vehicle for farm business.

Also, isn't Clark supposed to be older than Lana?

You answered my question on who was older, okay about Clark living on a farm, but Chloe didn't live on a farm and she was driving back in season 1, as early as Nico!

Is lois supose to be older then clark? lol
Is Jimmy Olsen supose to be the same age as clark?
Ummm If Grant was really Lex's brother he would of only been about 16 not running a newspaper and messing around with Lois.

All this logic to Smallville is making my head spin! Seriously, the Smallville writers should have a Smallville fan on their staff. :rotfl:

Lois is older than Clark. When Clark was a senior in high school, Lois was a freshman in college.
p.s. What is the age difference in the comics?

Word. That's right. Chloe even drove her and Clark to that spring formal in the season finale. But, technically a person usually starts 9th grade at age 14. And, hey! They live in Kansas! Clark lived on a farm. Who knows...maybe they were rebels in their own lil way....(Chloe probably...Clark...doubtful....whatever.) I'm over it.:D

I think Lana was 15 in season 1. I think she had her Sweet 16 by the end of season 2 right? or was it season 3?
I think in season 1 everyone took the school bus except for Lana because she had Whitney driving her around in a truck because he was a senior.

I think it's also funny when casting forgets about which actors have already appeared on the show... if you thought Police Cop "Danny" this week looked familiar, it's because that actor played a member of the Smallville High football team in the Season One episode 'Hothead'.... I kept waiting for him to break character and say "Hey Clark, remember me from the football team? Coach burnt my arm and you helped me? No? Ah well, I'll pretend to be "Danny" and you can be "Joe" and we'll act like we don't know eachother..."

Remember the jeweler that held Chloe & Jimmy, and Lois & Clark hostage this season? He was also the doctor of the last few episodes of S2. They like to recycle actors. There are others as well.

It's actually kinda hard to say how old Clark really for reals was, because I don't know if he figured out his real birthday yet.

yea its hard to judge clark's real age but going by the shows ages told in the past when season one started lana was older then clark by a few yrs and was 15. Clark/chloe/pete were 14 and were turning 15 towards the end of season 1. Then in season 4 clark was 17 with lana turning 18 then. lex/ollie currently i believe are around 26-28yrs old and lois is currently 23-24ish with clark 21/22 now.

The Talon was still around even before Lana turned it into a coffee shop. And she was serving coffee at that other place (Beanery?) when she was still 14. Anways, you can't expect Clark to remember the exact ages they were when events happened. I don't think he has Season 1 on DVD. I grew up in Kansas, and we could get restricted licenses at age 14. We were only supposed to be able to drive to and from work, school, and school events, but my parents (and many parents) let me drive beyond those functions.
*Legion* Clana Reckoning image appearing in Clark's house, even though the timeline it was taken in isn't the timeline they're in now, so it never happened!
What are you referring to? I missed this.

I'm glad you said this, I was thinking similar thoughts as I was reading this thread. I think sometimes we can take what they say waaay too literally. I mean, Clark and Lana essentially grew up together. So seeing her back in a familiar setting making coffee like she'd done a thousand times before made him think of how things were before their lives got complicated. The scene was about the nostalgia, not exactly how old Lana and Clark were when such-and-such occurred.

It's Smallville. You can't overthink it (or think of it on a normal level, really >.>) or you'll just get a massive headache. I just think of them all as sort of consistently 16 years old until the fifth season to avoid confusion :p
