Clark should be Chloe's wikipedia like how Clark was Oliver's wikipedia in this episode.

Chloe came all the way from Star City so that she could help Clark for like two seconds, and then went back!!
Putting that aside, I loved that scene so I'm glad she did.

I thought she had to pick up something. Nevertheless, ITA.

Looks like the Chloester took a page out of the Pete Ross book of "Pointless Appearances by a Series Regular not Involved in This Week's Storyline"

Yup. Clark must have whisked her home for a special appearance.

well you got to remember allison asked to have a small role in this episode since she was directing power the next episode and likely was very busy with director duties while filming of this episode happened. As for going to star city from metroplois maybe ollie let her borrow the jet for quick trips.

They could've had it less than coming to help Clark and then leaving. Actually you know what.... maybe she wanted to talk to Clark about things regaurding her cousin. ;)

Actually, she never left. If you watch again, Clark says "I am glad I caught you before you left." as he walks in the door.

^^ Hasn't it been a week? I thought she was leaving right then in the last episode.

it's been 9 years, obviously she's doing something right if she's still here :)
that being said, anything with chloe in it makes my day. :D

^Naw the episode was real good.... up until the ending that is. Somehow I DON'T think that's what Danny meant when he asked Clark what keeps him going.... it shouldn't be Lana... heck it shouldn't even really be Lois... it should be the fact that that's his purpose and the need to fulfill it.

Maybe she came back from last weeks trip to take care of some business at the foundation and was about to leave again when Clark came in.
Just a thought...

I take it you're a comic book fan?
Or can you at least explain why you think that Chloe is stupid or pointless?
I like Chloe because she's smart, funny and she helps Clark a lot when he needs it most. And she's there for him when he need a shoulder to cry on/ someone to talk to...
As for the scene: I liked it, but it's kinda weird that she would be in Metropolis only to help Clark and calm down Lois-fans by talking about her :p

Sounds very possible ;) Although now Lana's back, she shouldn't have to do that anymore, right?

I don't think the scene was stupid but I agree it was pointless. It seems that the only reason Chloe was there was to mention Lois to Clark. How can Chloe say it is that obvious when she was taken over by Braniac? How can Chloe remember the Clois stuff from Bride but not remember that Davis was Doomsday? Not plausible but it's evident from certain moments this season that the writers like to take the easy way out.
Just when I thought Clark was now a big boy working at the DP and thinking on his own...he needs Chloe to be his personal search engine. WTF??? Talk about regression!

Welcome, newbie. :) And I heartily disagree with your statement. I'm honestly wondering if we're watching the same show.

Coming back from Star City to help Clark was not a big sacrifice. Chloe has done much more to help him in the past. Does anyone know how far it is from Star City to Metropolis?....I do remember Allison wanted to have a small part because she was going to direct "Power." She did need to fullfill her contract by being in all 22 episodes even if she is only in a short scene.

Chloe set Clark up with a fake undercover identity as a cop. She clearly set him up with a fake ID, got him a uniform, a Coast City resume and told him how to get his first assignment. She was checking the Met PD evidence registry to help him find out who shot MM. It's what she's always done on the show.
I'm pretty handy with Teh Internets, but I don't see how I can even begin to do any of this. And I doubt wikipedia could tell me.

Chloe is pretty amazing even without Brainiac as her co-pilot. I wonder sometimes how she does the things she does. Getting Clark all set up to be a cop was cool.

It was and she did a similar thing with Kara's fake history.

Didn't she borrow the Queen jet for a jaunt off to Montreal (which is just as far from BC as it is from KS) in season 7? I'm sure she has quite a few favors to call back on Ollie, so that actually makes sense.

It's probably in Kansas, just like Metropolis, Gotham City, Central City--there are a lot of big cities in that farm state! Is Coast City in Kansas, too? Think about that...
