He was kinda mopey in the last "Labyrinth" scene. I didn't care for the last scene of "Bulletproof," but at least he seemed to be direct and sure.

I would have voted Clark had it not been for the last scene, which I think took him steps back after the great progress he continued to make in the rest of the episode.
I had to vote Tess though. This thing that Lex did to her to spy on her really has made her an interesting character. I hope we get a scene between her and Ollie in the next episode. I was hoping they would have delayed this Tess plot to later on in the season since I wanted to see more scenes between her (as Lex's replacement) & Clark.
But who knows. Is she really going to turn good overnight? I had a big feeling that Tess would be saved from having the same fate as Lex in the end by Clark, but there's still plenty of time. It seems Lana is the one who saved her so far, but plenty can still happen. I can also see Lex making another appearance and killing her.

Shocked as I am to say this... Lana was my favorite this episode. And I am a DIEHARD Chloe fan, so that's a pretty huge admission for me. I think if Chloe had been in the episode more, I would've said she was the best, but Lana really stole the show for me, followed closely by Tess and Clark, who also got a ton of development and chance to shine.

Why are people voting Chloe when she only had one scene of exposition?
Because she said exactly what alot of fans wish they could have. It wasn't about pimping EDClois. It was more about telling Clark, hey you kind of have unfinished business with Lois... so before you jump back into bed with Lana you need to fix that.
And I loved her line... "My evil upgrade was.... convinient" LOL

Tess.
I don't know, I kinda felt bad for her...
She loved Lex, that's for sure, and to think he's been watching her all this time.

Clark might have actually had this one if it weren't for that oh so typical regression... *sigh*
I posted this in a different thread, but this is how I feel about Clark's regression:
I really don't see how Clark has regressed--this is the same Clark that we have had in the first half of the season. Is Clark still working at the Daily Planet? Yes. Is Clark still going out trying to find Doomsday? Yes. Is Clark going out saving people? Yes. Is Clark drawing some conclusions for himself? Yes. That's what we have seen Clark doing in the first half of the season, and he's still doing it.
The writers have also made it clear from season's beginning that Clark is not over Lana. Who was the first person Clark saw when his life flashed before his eyes in the season premiere? Lana. Who's necklace did Clark stare at longingly in "Instinct"? Lana's. Who's pictures has Clark looked at throughout the season's first half? Lana's. Yes, Clark may have begun to fall for Lois, but he is clearly not over Lana yet, and her return to his life has brought his feelings for her back to the forefront. I would like for Clark to resolve all of his romantic feelings for Lana in her arc before he begins a new romantic relationship with Lois. She deserves better than for Clark to date her while he is still in love with someone else. YMMV.
Now for that final conversation between Clark and Lana. This is nothing new for Clark. Who's well-being did Clark put before the world's in "Bloodline"? Lois's. Who's well-being did Clark put before the world's in "Legion"? Chloe's. Now, we have Clark, not actually putting Lana's well-being before the world's, just expressing that it would be nice to be able to do that, and everybody goes crazy.

Sorry... "It's like we are 14 again..." was enough regression for me to throw my hands up and cuss...
This is the woman who dumped him via DVD... I could accept a lot of things but just wanting to go back to being 14 again anti one of them. Lana is still that girl he spied through his telescope to him... it's emotional regression as Bad Toad, usually the ultimate Clark defender, called it. I don't like it... I don't have to like it... and I am glade that Clark is still doing all those things... but Season 8 has been so great with him that I have come to expect more from Clark and from the writing... If he had said, "I want to talk about us," and Lana and Clark had really talked about all the problems and issues that they had then yeah I could deal without saying the r word, but "who cares about all the other times this has screwed up" *kiss*! that is r-e-g-r-e-s-s-i-o-n.

As I pointed out above, Clark is, and wasn't, over Lana. I certainly don't like it--Clana should have ended awhile ago--but that's how it is.
I hope that, by arc's end, Clark is truly over Lana so he's free to chase after whomever he wants to and there will be no more turning back.

Turpin - I know he's not in the list, but I was more impressed with him than with Clark.
Indestructible Clark still wants to play house with Lana, while vulnerable Turpin puts it all on the line everyday for his family. He even bucks his own kind for the sake of justice.
Sorry - Turpin embarrassed and outclassed them all
