(Clark turns to Oliver as we now see over their shoulders and into the emergency room as doctors begin emergency surgery on John Jones)

Clark: He's a martian- you have people operating on him- this is a being that can shoot outside of the Earth's atmosphere on a whim! Don't you think they're going to notice he isn't human.

(Tess opens her locket and clicks a button, somehow giving Lex the equivalent of a Blue Screen Of Death)
