Lana and the Isis Foundation

I enjoyed seeing Lana back at the Isis Foundation. She seemed like she was back in her element. She's a keen researcher and very determined when she wants to be. She intended to help find Chloe and she did. It makes me remember Chloe's line to Clark "Chalk one up to the new improved version" in reference to Lana when she found out some evidence that Chloe over looked. While I don't think Lana is a "new improved version," I do think she is very good with research and tracking down villains. She and Chloe should start a PI firm.

While people may criticize her for spying on Lex from there, the Isis Foundation also made Lana seem like a much better character (which was another reason why I liked her so much in S7). When she was there, she wasn't necessarily known for being with Clark and she was basically being her own person like Chloe was when she was at Isis or like Lois is when she's at work at the Daily Planet.

Totally agree. I wish we could get more of this. I like Lana in this element. It does give her a purpose. It was kind of sad that they tried to reduce her to Suzie-homemaker last season. I'm sure Lana/Isis Foundation could be a great asset to Oliver and the JL.

Is the Isis foundation part of the mythos? The Legion seemed like they knew what it was.

I don't think it's apart of Superman mythos but it seems like it's apart of SV mythos now.

Does anyone think that KK's acting seems a bit off since season 7? I watched her earlier work and it seems natural and real. Now, it seems that its forced and fake. Like , when Lana and Clark were at the Isis Foundation and she was trying to find a solution? Her dialogue seemed off just like last season. I wonder if thats on purpose to reveal something later.
Or is it just bad performing on her part? I thought it was bad. Eventhough I liked this episode better than Bride. Ive seen her acting skills in her movies, they were great performances.
Kind of disappointed in her acting. I hope she is not trying to sabotage her own career. :confused::confused::confused:

Me, too. I feel like the Isis Foundation is Lana's turf. Nothing wrong with Chloe helping out there, but I believe the DP is Chloe's turf. I wouldn't want Lana to suddenly become an ace reporter and start doing Chloe's job.

I like Lana at the Isis Foundation better than the Talon. She won't be staying so I see Chloe going back there to run it when Lana leaves. Lana will always be the founder and giving the money to support it, therefore, keeping it open.
