How did Davis / Doomsday get on Earth? Was he released from the Phantom Zone?

He was created on Krypton by combining the DNA of the planet's strongest and most violent alien species with the DNA of General Zod and his wife Faora.

Zod sent him to Earth by somehow attaching his DNA to Clark's ship, then he grew up in an orphanage.

Remember, according to Davis' foster records, his birthdayis October 16, 1987, exactly two years to the day of the first meteor shower. He has no information for the first three years of his life.

probably but doomsday is a learner so im assuming eventually he can break free on his own.

And how would he break free on his own? The only way out is for a member of the house of El to place there hand on the portal activator. He can punch his way out and I doubt he has the Iq to create a portal.

I guess my question is now that Doomsday is here is there still going to be a Davis Bloom? Or was this the last episode with Sam Witwer? You could put a cheap stunt double under the monster costume to play Doomsday.

he is likely be be randomly switching between monster form and davis form. Davis is scheduled to be in a few more episodes.

I think...Graham...or someone answered it for me.

Davis/Dooms wasnt in the ice long enough for the transformation to be complete. He had to be in there 12 days. When Brainiac died...Davis woke up, and Dooms busted free.

So the transformation isnt complete at this point. I think he's further along then he was before, but its still going to take transformations like it did before.

That's good to know. I really liked Davis. I thought he had a lot of good chemistry with Chloe and I would have hated to see him replaced completely by the monster.

thanks for clearing that up....but since Brainiac was controlling him....I wonder if he attached the dna to the ship when he took Kara back in time to Krypton.
