SEASON 9 If and Only If

The only way I want to see Season 9 is if and only if the writing gets better. I'm sick of Clark being such a wuss. They need to start writing Clark a little more, well SUPER! I don't expect to see a suit on quite yet but for crying out loud when is he finally going to fly?

I read that Darren Swimmer of Smallville said this about Legion "Overall, I think this episode is really a gift for the comic book fans out there." Okay it was a good episode and I loved all the comic book references but it was also a bit of a slap in the face. It felt like the were rubbing the whole "No Flights, No Tights" in our faces. Don't get me wrong I love Smallville and I would love to see a season 9. In my opinion Tom Welling is undeniably the perfect choice for Superman. But I wish the writers would write him that way. And for the love of all things holy, LANA GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Clark is only going to fly when there is no other option to save some1, because he is afraid of heights but yeah it's time for that to happen.
And i hope that some1 is Lois.

I said this before in another thread. That Clark was acting not super because of lana . This is what I mean Clark Kent and Superman are different people with different personalities (yes, technically they are the same, but if you think about it Superman always acts differently. When he is Clark Kent.) Clark is human so he falls victim to everything we do. (Not having confidence in himself, being scared, selfish, etc.) Superman on the other hand is kryptonian does not fall victim to human problems and emotions (I consider love and friendship universal emotions that everybody can feel.) I believe that the lana characters soul purpose, and it has been that way since season six, is to bring out the Clark Kent in Superman. I believe that the writing for Clark/Superman has been good this season until now and it is because lana is back and I have faith that when she leaves we will be back to a man becoming Superman. Remember, just my opinions
