"Where's your cape?" "No flights, no tights, this isnt' the Man of Steel". He sounds like me complaining on this board. It's as if the writers read this board and wanted to tweak us a bit. I liked it. I hope it means it will be fixed soon.

well the producers of the show definately do... I was thinking the same thing when Lightning Lad said this. I was thinking of all of our complaints.

no, they addressed a lot of stuff. The legion seemed to be our voices complaining about CK.

They do that a lot. But, never seem to address the main concerns.

 it's obvious the writers and producers vist K-site, or other fansites.

They were my concerns. Why CK keeps hanging around the barn instead of being who he is; Superman. If they aren't going to have him become Superman then they really should end it this season. Another season of him running around would be stupid. He needs to fly and they need to burn down the barn.

Me too. It's as if the writers were criticizing themselves or at least Gough and Millar. That almost floored me when I heard it. How can they continue on with him as a speed runner when they themselves just made fun of the entire situation?

One thing I really liked about the Legion was that we as fans could relate to them so easily when it comes to Clark. "Where's the Cape?" "Where's the flying?" "Where's the glasses?" All questions we've had for some time now since Clark's transformation to Superman is basically complete. Good writing and nice nods to the fans.

I think they are not going let this one roll of Clark's back. There has been so many chances/instances in the past where Clark has come to some sort of a realization, only to discredit it.

I'm not so sure. They could be wrapping things up. The writers actually made light of the situation that they have created so they either need to fix it like you state or end it. We can't have another season of a Superman who can't fly. They have mocked it so it's put up or shut down.

That is an interesting thing to think about. Perhaps they even post here under pseudo names. Maybe even Welling and others in the cast do also. That would be hilarious if something like that were to happen.

If you are right, I have something to say to Tom Welling : Tom, please, SMILE AGAIN like you do with Garth at the end of Legion (or like you did with Lois when you told her you are gonna work with her). It is so...like the shine of the sun. Thanks:D:p

As long as it isn't that wimpy smile he flashes at Lana. I just hope he doesn't fight DD in the barn. One of Lana's pictures may get broken.

do we have some sort of list of all the fan nods in this episode? i got the obvious ones("where's your cape?") but did we have any that were less apparent?

A MAN OF REASON!

Can't fly, no cape, why is he running? I'm sure I missed a couple It was the attitude as much as what he said. I still get a kick when I think it was the writers making fun of their own writing.

Perhaps now they'll read my signature and burn down the barn. CK needs to be in Metropolis fighting crime. I'm not too wild about him having to fight an intergalactic lizard.
