In the scene with Clark and Lana at the Isis place, it seemed to me like Clark was actually thinking about killing Chloe..Did anybody else get that same feeling??

I think he was just weighing his options and was looking for someone to talk to about it. Someone who wasn't Legion who already made their choice.

These are two questions I just thought of after watching Legion. They aren't anything very important, just more curious than anything.

Doesn't Saturn Girl usually erased everyone's memories before the Legion returns to the 31st century to prevent some kind of rift in time or history? I didn't really mind one way or the other, I was just kind of expecting her to erase some memories before the end of the episode.

Also, I loved the reference to Brainiac 5, but isn't he a different alien race altogether than Brainiac? I like this take on Brainiac 5, just trying to remember the connection from the comics.

Like I said, these weren't major concerns as far as I was concerned and they did not take away from what I thought was a great episode, one of the best. Just trying to remember the connection to the comics.

It was susposed to scare you. But in the end... he was Clark and didn't kill anybody.

Umm, I remember saturn girl erasing Clark's mind in the cartoon, but I don't know if she does that all the time. Do the legion go back through time often?
As for the Braniac 5 bit, he's a descendent of the original braniac, so they got that pretty close. I loved how they hinted to Braniac 5.:)

I was concerned that we didn't get to see Shelby the Seventeenth :(

Maybe I was just thinking about the cartoon then with the mindwipes.

I loved the Brainiac 5 reference too, but I couldn't remember the exact relationship to Brainiac in the comics.

Saturn Girl doesn't usually erase memories (or at least she didn't back in the day) and in fact Jimmy and Lana were both backup members of the Legion (Jimmy as Elasta Lad and Lana as Insect Queen) and both retained their memories of the group.

As for Brainiac 5...well, that has changed over the years. I think I've lost track, but traditionally Brainiac was an AI from the planet Colu not Krypton (the Krypton origin was taken from the animated show I believe). Depending on the verision of the character Brainiac 5 is either a descendent of Vril Dox, a Coluian who was forced to aid the original Brainiac or Vril Dox who was really Brainiac himself.

I honestly don't know what the current connection is. I've lost track what with Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, the housing crisis, etc.

on the mindwipes, i can't recall for sure, but i think the silver-age superboy and the legion stories may have had that in them too. But I know lots of Legion stories were there are no mindwipes.

on Brainiac 5 - is an alien from Colu . His real name is Querl Dox. In comics, Brainiac adopts a Coluan , Vril Dox, who is Querl's ancestor.

Well this isn't the first time it has happened, the constant leaning on another character just to move the episode along. If you see, even in the earlier episodes of S1 Smallville, there has been parallel dialogue/feelings of mainly Clark and Lana!! You can see how they both console and/or reveal certain information. When Lana is going through some problem, Clark always know what to say. Same thing, I have noticed the other way around. It was just to move the plot along and probably was used to show that Lana has changed!! (maybe just like how she did back in S7)

I think the first question is very important!!! She was supposed to erase their memories!! Why the heck were Clark and Lana having a conversation about the Legion and how they told them about their future/s on the front porch like it was just a dream!!

They were talking, how they used to back when Clark was a love-sick puppy.
