Lana in the barn is a sign

Over the break after watching Bride a few times, it became obvious that the beginning of the episode was all Lex's perspective. We saw a tape/video playing with "Play" shown on the display/viewfinder as it cut in & out of various scenes at the wedding. The ending of Bride made sense of it all and why they showed those scenes twice but from different perspectives.

I don't think it was any coincidence that Lana was at the barn at the beginning of this episode and that she was still wearing what she wore in Bride. We know she was at the hospital and that she wasn't in the best of shape. She could have at least gotten changed but didn't. Instead she went straight to the barn.

To me, this is a sign that she went there to take away the camcorder that Lex was definitely tapping into using his technology. She knows that Clark or Ollie could trace the signal being sent back to Lex and she wanted to cover her tracks. I'm not sure what she's doing with Lex, but I'm pretty sure she's working with him for a purpose.

I still believe the text message was sent from Lex! But as for the dress thing, it's not like Lana would leave the hospital and go back to smallville in her hospital gown. But then again, the victims at chloe's wedding would not drive 2 hours to metro general in their blood soaked selves when they could have just gone to smallville medical center. I think the writers just screwed up with the whole aftermath thing. The did the same thing in Veritas and Descent.

That's my take on it also. Does that mean that you also think that Lana went to the barn to remove the camera and any other equipment that may have been planted so Lex could spy on the wedding? Perhaps Lana was the one who planted it to begin with, or knew that Lex would be watching and covered up her partnership with him.

You bring up interesting points. However, I thought Lana was wearing the same dress because she was brought to the hospital in it and had nothing else to change into from the hospital gown.

Good point. But why go straight to the barn instead of somewhere else first? She did eventually change her clothes, so she had a supply somewhere. I think she went directly to the barn for a reason.

I hadn't thought of it liked that, I thought the writers just messed up and forgot Lana was supposed to be in the hospital. Though, I don't know if Lana why doing anything with the camera for Lex, I think she might totally be doing something with Lex since Saturn girl told her she understands or won't tell Clark about what Lana's gonna do. Least there isn't too much of the season left over so hopefully we'll know what Lana's up to if anything.

Do you know if the avatar size went up again to the previous size limit as a result of this latest forum update? I used to have an animated avatar that last I tried using didn't work since the size was too big due to a decrease in the limit.

I think another clue that Lana is involved with Lex is how the Legion did not bring up the topic of Lex Luthor. Clearly they know how a thing or 2 about Lex and what he will become. I think they withheld stuff about him from Clark and Lana because they didn't want to influence anything about him. And Saturn Girl keeping quiet about Lana's secret could mean that it's about Lex since she made no mention of him to Clark.

Not that often anymore. The thing was that Lana went straight to the barn after getting out of the hospital. She didn't even expect Clark to be there. She knew he was going to be out looking for Chloe. So I definitely think she went there for an ulterior motive (cleaning up the camera & anything else that Lex used to see what was going on there).

Saturn Girl keeping quiet about Lana's secret seemed like a personal thing IMO. If Lana has been secretly working with Lex while she was in Cuba, Saturn Girl pretty much doesn't have any business telling Clark about that. Saturn Girl was willing to let Lana tell him on her own (and I'm assuming that she will in due time), but until then the threat with Lex wasn't a big problem which needed to be addressed at the moment.
I also think that the Lex thing wasn't a big problem because Saturn Girl said to Lana that she overcame so many things in her past and maybe Lana is taking steps to doublecross Lex (if she is working with him like you've said) and Saturn Girl was just gonna let that play out in due time.
