Um...question... how exactly did Clark manage to get a picture from an event with him and Lana that never actually took place in this current timeline?
This is my second episode I've watched this season and already in Bride they messed up by mixing up Homecoming with Prom and now in this episode they put up a picture of Clark and Lana that never took place because Clark went back in time and changed it.
Oh these people... :rotfl:

I noticed that.. That was from the first time line, they didn't seem like they were on speaking terms in the current timeline, oh well.

It's the picture of Clark and Lana at Jonathan's Senate party in the Talon, the first timeline from Reckoning.

Good point! I'm going to rewatch it and pause the Tivo to see if I can spot Lana's engagement ring.

Yep, you are right. Oh well, he had a lot of pictures of her, probably some baby pictures in an album, too.

What they did was frame Reckoning's promo picture.
I can just imagine them saying: "Can't find a good picture of Clark and Lana. Oh, to hell with it, Reckoning it is."

I didn't even notice, but now that I think about it you're right. What the heck is wrong with the show runners?! Obviously they're too busy ruining the show and making it ridiculous to check up on their facts. The fans are way more careful than they are.

Thats because these pictures never existed in Clark's house previously. Placing them there was so far over the top to make sure we knew how Lana was the center of the universe. They weren't even careful about what pictures they placed, nor did they care what that would say about Clark overall. Very irritating, IMO

I had that same thought. Who took that picture. Clark and Lana go for a horse ride out into the fields so that they can be alone. Remember they were hiding their relationship at the time so as to not hurt Chloe. Very convenient to now have a picture for the mantle.

agreed. if i remember correctly there's usually some pictures of clark and his parents, and at one point there were pictures of him and pete and chloe.

I wonder if they put the Exodus and Reckoning pictures in there on purpose. Maybe those are Geoff Johns favorite episodes of Smallville and wanted them to be apart of his.

It was plain and simple catering to clana fans by PS3. No way that that photo would 1) ever exist and 2) be in the barn at the present time.
Catering.
Catering.

I highly doubt that Geoff had any saying in this. Read my above post. PS3 catering to the clana fans. Typical and so not unexpected.

LOL to all of the responses re the horses or Lana's stalker snapping the photo. I think TPTB maybe think the fans are not that detail oriented - they may think that the fans don't pay attention to details bc obviously, they don't so they figure that no one else does either.
It kind of disappoints me that people running this show never seem to get the small stuff right. Having those particular pictures of Clana on the mantle seems like they just grabbed whatever pics were laying around in the prop department!

I agree. It's strange the way they just pooped up for this episode?
Did Lois' Whitesnake collection make it into this episode? I can't remember. She dropped off the box back in Bloodline when she was about to move in with Clark.

The Clana, Oak tree pic could've been taken with a camera on a timer.
The Reckoning pic is a mystery, unless pics can survive changing the past:lol:

The worst part is that the writers and producers know that the fans always detect that kind of stuff. I once saw a dvd with commentary when they pointed out that. Anyway, I guess that those were the only happy Clana pictures of the entire series they could find. It's funny that the couple they forced down our throats for seven years only had two or three happy moments along the series and one of them was erased from their timeline.

Sad indeed. Clark was so happy in that picture, then moments later so very sad again.:(

Clark wants Lana to see that he hasn't given up on their relationship. So out comes photos that he's put away since she's been gone. And he places them exactly near the door so everyone coming in and out of his home sees them.

Really? It's hard and possibly even pointless to respond to this because realistically, we know that the writers and producers have access to any and every picture they want. They can even create new pictures if they so desire. Was this sarcasm? I won't guess at the reasons why they used the pictures they used. But it's not very hard to prove that they have a million pictures of happy moments (ones from the actual series or just created) at their disposal.
