I personally blame the Channel's decision to air the episode in a big break. If we all look at the ratings each week ratings were going higher and higher it almost made it up to 5 million if they had not had the break specially a big break. I say channel needs to pull their decision and rethink about how to Line up the Episode. If there is going to be a season 9 I hope channel learns how the ratings were going up as the episodes were together. What Do You Say?

Seems to be an episode 9 thing. How odd.

Gemini had lower ratings because it aired in the middle of December, when the strike was in full force. Abyss' low ratings are due to the football game pre-empting it on the coast. It's got nothing to do with the episode number.

Live+7 is the amount of viewers that watch it live, plus the number of viewers that watch it within 7 days on their DVR's.

So looks like this means "Bloodline" still holds the highest ratings for the season. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I keep hoping that will say something to the producers. ;)

This was still a good episode though.

Yes, "Bloodline" is the episode with the highest ratings this season.:) I was hoping that "Legion" would have reached at least 4.5 milion but I guess that until Lana leaves for good we'll never get to that score. Lets just hope that ratings don't get lower than 4.2m:cool:

Yeah...I agree Lana doesn't do anything for me or the show anymore and just brings it down. ;) But I was also implying that an episode featuring Kara/Laura Vandervoort having the highest ratings so far proves she is a viable and popular character on the show (w/ the caveat being when she is written well and provided good plot material). That fact has to say something to the powers that be.

No, they made the smart move by placing the first ten together so it could gain that momentum. I think they purposefully did that to prove they could earn a S9. However, because they did that, we must suffer the inevitable ratings imbalance that will come from having a more scattered second half of the season.

Anyone know how the CW did last week in ratings? I'm pretty sure SV was the highest but I was sorta interested how other shows are doing. ;)

It's too bad the CW didn't order two or three more episodes for the season so the scheduling wouldn't be as scattered.

The Live+7 for Bride is incorrect. That is, as stated before, a Season average. We have no Live+7 data for Bride. In the "Power" ratings Thread, I am suggesting an estimate, if you want to participate.

If anyone wants to add to my Charts, please make sure your info is correct.:)

Luiz Fernando

I'm sorry, but the 4,67 of Bride cant be the season Live+7 average, because the average of the nine first episodes was 4,75. If the average of the 10 first episodes was 4,67, it could mean that Bride only have 3,95 millions in the Live+7, and it is impossible, because this episode had 4.19 in the first numbers, and Smallville always grow up more less 0.6 in it's ratings in the Live + 7

So I think that the rating of 8.10 Bride was 4,67, and not the Season Average.

A Hug!

^^^Are you following me, or am I just paranoid
As I said in the Bride thread, I haven't actually averaged the Season myself. This their calculations, and they could be wrong on their Season averages. But, there is no data out that has Bride's Live+7. Not that I have seen, hence my suggestion that we come to an agreement on an estimate to get some closure.:)
I'll probably never stop looking for the actual rating:lol:
Is that hug for me or do you need a hug?

It also scored slightly lower then repeats of Roulette and Crossfire the week before those 2, your point?

suzieQ

Crossfire Repeat: Same timeslot..........

Smallville (R, 9pm, 95% coverage)
- 1.489 million viewers
- 0.9/1 HH
- 0.6/2 A18-49
- 0.5/2 A18-34
- 0.4/1 W18-34

My point is that a repeat of an episode over a year ago did better than Kandor and Pandora repeats, both pivotal Season 9 episodes, IMO. At least they were promoted quite heavily. Crossfire didn't beat Legion by much in viewership.

And the most important point..........Kristin Kreuk was in the episode and it is always lovely to see her as Lana in any Smallville episode. IMO.

Yes, I KNOW that SV in on Fridays. I am posting Repeat Ratings Numbers between SV episodes that are ALL relevant to Friday night viewing. I am comparing numbers between the episodes not the overall programming night.

I am confirming that the episode Legion had a strong if not stronger viewership compared to the most recent SV episodes. I find that noteworthy.

Why should I "move on"? I did watch CHUCK and most definitely enjoyed KK. Just because KK is no longer on SV, doesn't mean I can't comment on enjoying her on a Smallville episode, especially a very good episode like Legion. I didn't know that Lana fans are no longer welcomed here at K-site?

Well Hex scored a 1.52M(Up against the Olympics) total which is slightly higher then Legion, so you can read whatever you want into that rating
