Superman the rewrite

Chapter 1 Metropolis
Our story begins in a busy city known as Metropolis. A bus was seen driving through the busy crowded streets of Metropolis until it arrived at a bus stop. The bus stopped and the doors opened up as people began coming out of the bus one man reading a newspaper and holding a briefcase, this man was known as Clark Kent. He began walking through the crowded city streets reading a newspaper. He continued talking until he arrived in front of a big building known as the Daily Planet.

He smiled walking inside the building going into an elevator. He smiled as a man ran into the elevator tripping dropping some papers. Clark bent down to help to man pick up the papers handing to the man who smiled.”Thanks I’m Jimmy Jimmy Olsen” He said smiling as Clark smiled” I’m Clark Kent” he said as they shook hands. The Elevator doors opened Clark walking out Jimmy doing the same.

Clark smiled turning to Jimmy ”You wouldn’t happen to know where Perry white’s office is would you? He asked with a smile Jimmy nodded pointing to an office a few doors away “There it is you must be the new reporter” He said Clark nodded “Yes I am “He said as he walked to Perry White’s office knocking on the door as a man spoke ”Come in ”Clark opened the door walking in seeing a woman who seemed pretty upset.

The woman spoke” Perry please I can do this story I can find the kidnappers” He said Perry sighed “Lois your one of our best reporters I don’t want you to wind up dead” He said Lois sighing as Perry turned to look at Clark the latter smiling” Hi I’m Clark Kent the new reporter” He said Perry scratched his head ”Who?”He asked Clark spoke again”From Smallville remember? He asked Perry smiled” Yes I remember now yes have you brought me any of your articles?

Clark nodded putting his briefcase on Perry’s desk opening it, it was filled with articles that Clark had written. Perry scratched his chin reaching in the briefcase picking up an article reading it” This is fantastic!” He said Lois rolled here eyes thinking she could write better articles than this new guy. Perry smiled “I have a fantastic idea how about you and Lois both do a story together! Lois was outraged “Me do a story with some new guy I could write circles around this guy he would just slow me down Perry come on!

Perry turned towards Lois” Listen you may have experience but who’s the editor” Lois sighed ”You…” Perry nodded” That’s right now you are going to do the story with Clark like it or not!”He said turning to Clark “Anyway you two are going downtown Lex Luthor is showing the public his new weapon developed to combat Terrorists” He said smiling Clark nodded “Okay I’ll do my best sir” Perry laughed turning to Lois ”See he respects his elders, now get going” He said

Clark nodded walking out the room Lois following him running in front of him.”Now listen up just because were partners doesn’t mean we have to talk “She said Clark ignoring her as he walked towards the elevator. She continued to speak “And your not going to slow my behind “She said as they both walked into an elevator. Lois continued speaking until they got to the bottom floor both walking out as Lois finished her speech.”Got it?” Clark nodded”Yeah

Lois smiled taking out some cash” Hey Clark can you go get us some soda’s? She asked with a smile Clark nodding taking the money” Okay I’ll meet you outside Lois” He said walking to a nearby vending machine putting the money in. Lois smiled walking outside stopping a Taxi getting in the back the man smiled” Where to? Lois smiled” “Luthor corp testing area” The cab driver nodded driving.

Clark walked outside the Daily planet holding the soda’s looking for Lois, as he soon realized what happened. “So she’s trying to get the story before me?”He said smiling he opened both soda’s drinking them quickly .He tossed the two cans into a nearby trash can than in a flash he was gone. In an instant he reappeared a few feet from the entrance to the Luthor corp testing area. He smiled walking to the entrance showing a security guard his id. He was allowed to enter the testing area quickly going to gather information.

About forty five minutes later a Taxi arrived Lois getting out paying the driver going to the entrance showing up seeing the security guard giving letting her. She walked in seeing Clark shocked remembering that she had left him at the Daily planet .Clark smiled approaching Lois” So you finally made it Miss Lane well your late I’ve already interviewed everyone here and finished the report now I’m just waiting for Luthor to demonstrate his weapon” He said smiling Lois smiled” Your more talented than I thought “She said

A man in a black business suit came out from the Luthor corp testing building smiling it was none other than Lex Luthor himself. Lex smiled walking to a brown stage that he had placed outside the building walking towards a microphone” Well hello my fellow Americans today I will present a device that will change mankind for the better” He said smiling as some guards came out with a large ray gun. Lex pulled a remote out his right pocket clicking a button as a giant screen came out the bottom of the stage showing a short video of how the ray gun fires a destructive disintegrating ray capable of vaporizing any foe.

Chapter 2 Superman
Clark had some paper on a clipboard taking notes during the video. Many people clapped after the video finished Lex smiling. Many reporters began asking Lex questions as Clark spoke” Excuse mister Luthor this weapon is very powerful what would happen if terrorist managed to obtain it is their any defense mechanism? Lex smiled “Why of course It has a self destruct button so if terrorists do somehow obtain it they will not be able to use it”

Clark nodded taking notes as Lois turned “Lex I think your forgetting something? Lex turned to Lois” And what might that be? He asked with a sly smile Lois continuing to speak” What if you use it for your own purposes?” Lex smiled” I would never do that” Lois rolling her eyes “Right” She said taking notes as Lex smiled” Well if that’s all the presentation is over” He said with a smile One of the guards approached Lex” That is all” The guard grabbed his gun smacking Lex in the head. Lex was sent crashing into the stage floor.

The Other guards quickly reached for their guns as The fake guard smiled walking towards the ray gun clicking a button turning the ray gun to face the audience.”Make one move and they’re all going to be disintegrated! He said with a serious face Lois began to get panicky” Oh no” She said as Clark looked around he had to stop this. He prepared to go stop this when a helicopter came lowering a rope as the fake guard sat in the chair to operate the ray gun.

The helicopter pulled the rope up pulling up the fake guard and the ray gun. The fake guard clicked a button as the ray gun fired a beam at the audience Clark blew creating a hurricane wind which blew the beam in the air. The audience began to scatter as Clark moved at super sped leaving Lois turning to see he was gone. “What the heck?”She said as she froze where she was confused. Another helicopter arrived with more terrorists.

Suddenly a man in a costume appeared it had an S symbol and was mainly blue, with a red cape, it was Superman. He smiled looking up as he flew in the air moving at incredible speeds it looked like time itself had freezed to him. He moved grabbing the ray gun lifting it flying to the stage putting it down softly. The man still in the chair was nervous getting out the chair starting to run as Superman super sped pushing the man as he was sent flying five feet hitting the stage floor. Superman flew in the air grabbing one of the helicopters flying it to the ground ripping it in half than flew towards the other one grabbing it as the men inside jumped out. He tossed the helicopter into the air and flew towards the two falling men grabbing them dropping them on the floor as the police arrived.

Lois watched in shock as the super powered hero stopped the Terrorists try and steal the ray gun. Police men emerged from their vehicles holding guns as Superman flew in the air and a few minutes later Clark returned to the Luthor Corp testing area pretending to be confused.”What’s going on I heard people talking about a man with a cape” He said to Lois who was shocked “It’s true !She said in disbelief

Thirty minutes later at the Daily planet Lois and Clark and other Daily planet workers where in a meeting. Perry speaking “Okay well today a man in a costume stopped some terrorists from stealing Lex Luthor’s new weapon “He said “I honestly don’t believe it but apparently many people saw this “hero” including Lex Luthor’s security “He said” Now who is this guy friend or foe, is he human find all of this! Lois smiled “Perry he’s no man he’s a Superman! Perry smiled” I like that name let’s go with that!”He said Clark smiling thinking that was a good name. Perry than got a serious face” well what are you waiting for go go go! The reporters stood up and began walking leaving the building Clark smiled once he got out of the Daily Planet he moved at super-speed arriving at the Kent farm in an instant.

Clark took out a key opening the door walking in as Martha had just finished lunch. Clark smiled” Fried chicken, Macaroni and cheese, and your famous fruit punch thanks mom!”He said smiling as he washed his hands walking to take a seat at the table. Jonathan came out the bathroom smiling “Hey son I heard about some super hero stopping some terrorists I’m guessing you used the costume your mom made? He asked with a smile

Clark nodded” Yes I did” He said smiling Martha put plates on the table” See isn’t it better to work in the day time than working in secrete? Clark nodded” Yes now I don’t have to move at super speed all the time” He said as he began eating a fried chicken wing. Martha sat down sipping some fruit punch Jonathan speaking” Just be careful” he said as Clark spoke” The reporters want to interview Superman what… Jonathan interrupted” Superman? Clark continued to speak” That’s what they call me anyway should I give them the interview? Martha nodded” That would be good so they get the right idea about you unlike the nut in Gotham. Clark nodded” Your right” He said smiling

Chapter 3 Interview

Clark smiled after finishing his meal at his parents’ house he got up pushing his table in. He smiled moving at super- sped cleaning up the house. He smiled” Well thanks for the meal “He said opening the door super-speeding to metropolis. He smiled walking through the busy streets of Metropolis until seeing a billboard with a picture of Superman defeating the Terrorists he already had a positive image so the interview would be good.

He smiled he walked into dark alley spinning moving at super speed he took off his work clothes now in his costume. He super sped to his house putting his clothes on the steps than he flew high in the air arriving in space he used his super hearing to track down Lois. He smiled flying reentering Earth’s atmosphere flying at incredible speeds towards Lois’s location she was in her apartment just getting home.

He smiled as he arrived inside her apartment knocking on her door. Lois sighed not wanting to get their hoping they would go away. Superman knocked again Lois getting off her couch walking towards the door” I’m coming” She said as she opened the door shocked to see Superman. He smiled” I’m here for an interview” He said smiling Lois smiled” sure!”She said “Can we do it somewhere a little more private than my Apartment? Superman nodded closing the door picking up Lois he super sped out of the apartment and flew in the air to the top of a building.

He put her down Lois smiling” So you can fly and move at super speed anything else you can do? Superman smiled” Well I am really strong and a bunch of other abilities” He said as Lois nodding” Are you human? Superman shaked his head” No I’m the last of my race I’m a kryptonion” He said as Lois continued asking questions “Any weaknesses? Superman shaked his head “none that I know off “He said as Lois smiled” What about a personal life? She asked as Superman smirked” I’ll save that for another day” He said smiling as he picked up Lois flying her to her apartment putting her down outside. He smiled as he flew away.

He arrived at his house knocking on the door as Jonathan opened the door” Welcome home Superman” He said with a warm smile Superman smiled moving at super speed and was now dressed in blue jeans and a blue T shirt with a red jacket. He smiled “I’ve been thinking about getting an apartment in Metropolis” Martha turned to look at him” Your always welcome here son” She said with a smile as Clark smiled “I know but people will start asking questions how I get to smallville with no vehicle” He said as Jonathan continued to speak “You can take our truck” He said Clark nodded ” Still I’ll need one” Martha nodded” He’s probably right Jonathan”

Meanwhile at the apartment Lois smiled finishing her article calling it the Superman story. He smiled picking up her phone she was going to call her cousin she had to tell her about this. She held her phone dialing the number calling as the voice male was heard. She sighed hanging up she thought about calling Jimmy or Perry but they would never believe him. She finished her article and turned off the lights in her apartment going to sleep.

Around two am in the morning armed men broke in with guns bursting in Lois falling out of bed seeing the men preparing to yell as one of them smacked her with his gun knocking her unconscious. The men picked her up as one of them took out a phone texting someone. A text was sent to the man’s phone saying” take her to the facility”. The man smiled” Come on boys let’s go” They took her to a rooftop getting into a helicopter starting up flying away.

The next morning a daily planet Clark arrived to see many of the reporters distressed. He saw a paper Superman friend or foe. He walked over to Jimmy” What’s going on? He asked Jimmy looking at him” Lois has been kidnapped they found an article of an interview with Superman now authorities think he might have kidnapped her. Clark was starting to get worried now he felt like he should have never had the interview.

Jimmy looked at Clark” I thought this Superman was a hero C.K but know that he might have kidnapped Lois I’m not so sure” He said Clark nodded” Yeah…He said standing up” I have to go” He said as he began walking “I have to go” He said going to the elevator he had to find Lois he shouldn’t have done that interview but who could have kidnapped her..

Meanwhile at a lab

Lois was unconscious tied up in a metal room a man in a black business suit came it was Lex Luthor! He smiled” Good now that she’s captured people will have second thoughts about this Superman” “After a while I’ll bring her to Metropolis claiming I found her rescuing her from superman he won’t be stopping me from selling weapons to terrorists any time after that” He said smiling” Beat her but don’t kill her she has to be alive I’ll use one of my machines to alter her memories making her believe Superman beat her but give her food “He said as left the room.
