I couldn't see any threads about Cold Case, but if there is one sorry for posting another. I like this series, it's different from the usual cop shows. I hope it doesn't get cancelled after the 1st season, like a lot of shows that come to the UK. We just get to liking it and then we find out it's been dropped. It happened with Roswell (although it got to season 3), Dark Angel (season 2), then John Doe and we were really annoyed! We just got into Jake 2.0 (which has only aired here for about 6 weeks) and found out that is cancelled aswell???

Cold Case is not going to get canceled. While John Doe is one of my all time favorite shows, it did not get very high ratings. While it did have a cult following among the fans of the show, John Doe did not have a wide enough fanbase. However, Cold Case is CBS's most watched new drama. Any show that is done by Jerry Bruckhiemer - CSI, Without a Trace, and Cold Case, always score high in the ratings.
Since Cold Case gets high ratings, it will definately be around for awhile. As far as the show goes, I really like it to. Kathryn Morris is extremely hot, but her hair pisses me off. I like the fact that it has to do with cold cases.
The coolest thing about the show however, is that they are able to get the right type of music to play in the time period.

I love this show. They showed a double episode last night in the UK and it was fantastic. I'm a big fan of Kathryn Morris (Lily Rush), she plays her part so well but her hair gets to me a little too, the way its pinned up... but i like her a lot.
My favourite parts are when they merge the character's past and present faces almost seamlessly together, so you get flashes of what they looked like at the time the crime was committed and again in the present time.
Also love Without A Trace and the CSI shows too :)

Lol, U sount like an advertisement just then:lol:. That is what they use in their commericals. Never watched Cold Case. I seem 2 be drifting away from CBS. The only time i really see it is 4 the Daytime soaps and sometimes "Yes, Dear" and "King of Queens"

I went back about 10 pages and didn't see a thread for this show. Anyone else excited about tonight's premiere??
I didn't watch this show from the start, but started catching reruns on TNT and go into it. I really like the actors and the storylines. They do a great job of using music, clothing, etc... to really set the scene for whatever decade the crime took place in.
I find it a little different from the CSI type shows because it doesn't rely so much on lab work/forensics, but more on interviews and research (since some of the cases are 40-50 years old there's not always a lot of "evidence" to be had")
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else enjoys the show.
