Yeah, it was just Matt seeing him. Remember a few episodes ago (It's Coming, I think) when Matt was at Primatech. Usutu showed up and led Matt to Angela, but only he could see him.

It'd be cool if he was like Hana, where his physical body is dead, but he's able to project himself into peoples minds, and into the past/future, since that's what he original power was. (Well, not the minds part, but it's close enough that I could see it being part of his power)

Well if he was just in Matt's mind how could Hiro and Ando see him and speak with him ? And how the hell Arthur could have ripped his head off if he was Matt's imagination lol ?

What I mean is, this specific "version" of him, as well as the one in It's Coming, was just Matt seeing things, or Usutu projecting himself into Matt's mind from beyond the grave. The rest of him was all actually him.
