as for the power boost to speed back in time, it makes sense. I guess Ando would be the Sun, and Nemesis would be a Klingon Bird of Prey. Makes perfect sense.

It's not a plot hole. Would you rather complain about them wasting the entire episode trying to figure out how to properly go back in time? It's a completely different show than Star Trek, if anything the writers didn't want to confuse people so they made it simple. Nothing is ever good enough for people, is it? Everyone always has to complain. (Not trying to sound like I'm flaming, I'm not)

it's comic book/sci fi ;) You just have to believe that this saved them and go with the flow and not worry about physics so much. Afterall, Nathan and Peter fly lol.... they're kinda not following normal science anyway ;)

I also think that its the same power. I also have a theory about it as well. I think he will be able to shoot it like lightning but it won't be good. Since his power amplifies, I think it will work on anything, not just special people. Therefore if used on an ordinary person, the power could amplify anything from thier aging process to their heart beat and kill them, which is what I now think happened to Hiro when Ando zapped him.

from what we were shown. when ando accelerated the speedster, she traveled back a few seconds and ended up outside the door and came in and watched herself with the others. she then basically waited for time to catch up or at least until the other speedster traveled back and ended up where she was. this means that if ando and the speedster traveled back 16 years to save hiro they would have to have waited 16 years to the day they left to catch up again. what gives? according to what we were told she could only go back but not forward. it was not explained properly except for that she had to wait a few seconds to catch up to the point she left.

Actually we do "hear" their conversation, at least part of it and we don't know the context of it, but I remember they're being subtitles. I can't remember what was said exactly, but Ando said, "you're wrong" and Hiro having his sword out and Ando zapping him. I do agree that there was nothing to indicate he didn't just knock him out instead of killing him though, I never knew why Hiro would just assume that. But it was definitely an argument they were having. Doesn't matter anyway cause the formula was there and Hiro just destroyed it(hopefully)

I like Ando's power. It seems pretty useless by itself but these powers tend to develop overtime to do more so as people said he may be able to accelerate other things. I see him as the opposite to the Haitian. The Haitian neutralizes powers while Ando accelerates them.

I'm more concerned about hiro losing his powers since it seems he won't get them back. It's nice they are removing the time travel crutch but i like him being able to freeze things in time.

I don't think Ando's powers are only accelerating.

I mainly think is amplifying. He zaped Parkman, he became a radio.
He zapped the girl, he amplified her powers making her faster, hence the going back in time deal. So I think his powers is making other people's powers (or things). Bigger, stronger, faster. lol what every athlete wants to be.

For Example. If he zapped lets say the Haitian, remember that he had trouble controlling Arthur, well in the sense his power would be stronger so he would't have any trouble any more. I know the Haitian power might stop Ando's power, is just an example to make you guys have a mental image. Same with other powers, Instead of small/medium Electrical discharge of Elle (or sylar since she is dead), now is like a lightning bolt discharge. way bigger.

Anyway like Blink said above, I also see him as sort of the opposite of the Haitian....the Haitian is a power blocker/suppressor, and Ando's a power enhancer/amplifier. So,

Haitian = badass blocker of powers
Ando = helper monkey

I don't think is a lame power, because if you can make other things stronger/faster/bigger then is a cool one. But if it only affects other people's powers then yeah it sucks. You just become a battery for the other guy.

i think as his power progresses, he'll be able to go further with the acceleration of powers and be able to have enough force in his blasts or touch to complete kill someone by basically frying their brain which is similar to how the haitian is able to knock people out or kill them. his power basically amplifies whatever is inside the person through some sort of electric shock thus if he is able to control this power he will be able to possibly kill someone like what we "supposedly" saw in the future with hiro

While it was poorly explained, it's one of those things that doesn't really matter. It was pretty lame, sure, but where exactly would Peter get teleporting from next season, if not from Hiro? He only got his original power back from the formula, but absorbed Nathan's since he was right there, and the writers said they're getting rid of time travel, so I doubt they'll bring in another time traveler.

Yeah, people really shouldn't go around making up dialogue when they can't remember it *cough*bobsuncorp*. It just adds to the confusion on the boards.

Also, Ando's power has nothing to do with acceleration, it's amplification. That power has already been shown in the comics, a while back. The woman who had the power used it "at 100%" on a guy that grows/controls plants, and he lost control of his own power and died horribly. So it could technically be used as a weapon even though we have *no* evidence that it does damage as an energy attack or that it can harm normals. In fact, it's far from "lame", I'd wager that he can incapacitate any Hero with one "Hadouken".
