So they got rid of a lot of baggage this episode. Everyone happy about that? I'm happy but at the same time wish a few more had gotten the boot.

i thought about this too...they killed off a lot of extra characters , mainly because a lot of people complained there were too many characters...but wooo...they cleaned house.

metal dude? I'm happy they cleaned house a little too. It was getting crowded. Still I wish Tracy had bought the farm this episode too. Her and Nathan deserve each other.

The big long haired dude could turn his body into metal, that was his half metal arm with the wiggling fingers laying on the floor.

well even if they are fireproof a building kinda collapsed on Meridith and i believe to speculate that Pinehearst blew up as well and it fell on Flint

Flint could still be alive... we don't know

I'm not convinced Meredith and Flint are dead. Flint was in a room that exploded, but as he said before that, he's immune to fire. Same for Meredith; the only danger to her was the roof falling in.

Sylar's probably alive, even though he should be dead. Unless the roof fell in and knocked the shard of glass out but didn't fall on him before that.

Which one?

Please describe him. Do you mean the big guy with the long hair?

Wasn't the big guy with long hair the "Colossus" guy? THe other one had his throat slit. Just before HRG enters the cell which Meredith is in, you see him. I think that was the same guy. Not too sure.

Military subject guy died so fast.

Im talking about the black guy who was the third level 5 escapee! Not the puppet guy or the metal guy, THE OTHER ONE!

----- Added 12 Minutes later -----

I actually figured out who he was. His name is Echo DeMille and he is a sound manipulator like that jesse guy!

I agree about the military guy. I'm a fan of 4400, and it was nice to see him again. Also he finally got a useful power and he died. lol

Ok this is what happened with Sylar he is going to live but the fact that he now knows he can die is going to be a live changing experiance and he is going to work for Nathan and start to hunt the other "Heroes". Because everything that was in the future episodes is still capable of happening still.

Meredith isn't nessesarily dead. She can't be burned. and this isnt the first house that she burned down around her.

Litle bit more bizarre

Well given that we already know that Sylar's father is coming in vol.4 .. it's pretty safe to assume that he isn't dead .. people have been speculatling as to how all over these forums lol and there are quit a few good reasons .. ole angie pulled the glass before they left being the most likly because lets face it shes always got her lil schemes

Off course Sylar isn't dead. What would Heroes be without Sylar. I'm going with "the piece of glass falls out of his head" theory. Maybe because of the heat from the fire. Maybe something just knocks it out. Maybe an unknown level 5 prisoner finds Sylar. There are options.

I'm really glad Knox is dead. Found him annoying. Your fear makes me stronger! Boo!! Scared yet? Also glad Doyle the puppet guy died. Other than Sylar and maybe Peter with more powers, the puppet master seemed virtually unstoppable in a one on one situation.

The black guy was 'echo' with the sonic scream powers. A lot of quick, cheap, deaths in this epidsode. I enjoyed sylar vs the puppet master, that was cool. I need to watch that again.

Sylar VS the Puppet Master was awesome. But here's my question....why is it assumed that Eric Doyle died? After he fell to the ground in the battle with Sylar, he was clearly still breathing (very heavily in fact), and blinking. Sylar then goes after Meredith, and then has to set up the trap for Noah. I really liked the Puppet Master, by far my fave new villian (Flint's not that great and Knox was so lame), so I hope that he recovered and managed to escape before the building went up in flames.

Why wouldn't Sylar take Echo DeMille's powers I wonder. It looked like he slit his throat instead of the usually lobotomy. Too busy I guess, maybe he was hoping to go back and do it later, as with the Metal Man (?) and Doyle.

well even if they are fireproof a building kinda collapsed on Meridith

Did it?
She was in a heavily re-enforced concrete box. They built Level 5 to be able to take any sort of abuse that a powered-up prisoner might unleash on it.

I doubt a mundane building fire would collapse one of those cells. Even if the rest of the building was dropped on top of it.
