Anyone else here a big fan of the wheel of time series?

Ill take it that a no. A little information.

The series was written by author Robert Jordan who died recently of a rare form of cancer. There are 12 books, the ifnal one of which is being written by Brandon Sanderson. The first book was designed so it could be read as a standalone novel and id advise it to anyone who likes fantasy books. It reads a lot like LoTR only with less description and more character devlopement.

In the WoT books female channelers (magicians) travel the lands vanquishing male channelers (who have all go insane after using there power) and stopping shadowspawn. They also search out a male child who shall be proclaimed the dragon. The dragon is destined to both save the world and destroy it.

I love these books. Its a shame Robert Jordan passed away before he finished the series
