Is it possible for a poster to become a mod? If so, how?

Only if the Moderator or Admin can trust the person to fullfill the job and won't abuse the power and not to mention be on the boards like everyday.

I ask, because this summer I will be going on a road trip, and except for the occasional sight-seeing adventure, I will have PLENTY of free time. This brings up another question, are the message boards as active during the summer as they are during the rest of the year? Because there aren't any new episodes during the summer...

actually the boards are pretty dull over the summer months. that is until new season spoilers roll in towards the end of july and august.

craig is the only one who can hire people. as of now i'm not sure if he's looking for somebody. so far we have enough mods to take care of things. if the situation does arise in which we need to add another staff member craig will get in touch with whomever he feels fits the bill. but hey........you never know :)

I think that I would make a good moderator. I have been a moderator on other sites, so I know what the job entails.

Disco, what do you mean that Craig "hires" people? I have never heard of anyone getting paid to be a moderator on a website. On the few sites that I was a moderator, I did it for free.

Correct. i'll just go ahead and merge the two threads.

Craig aka KryptonSite picks who he want's to mod. Most of us have been around for two years or more. He has put a lot of trust in us.
