Okay, I know Im late on this post, but, I thought Id say it anyways.

How the hell did Jimmy show up at Isis SO FAST?

Clark let Jimmy out of the farm house, then, I'm sure he waited for Jimmy to leave before he super sped to Metropolis, then, Jimmy shows up TWO minutes after Clark does.

Jimmy said he was Speeding the entire time. Does his car have a turbo boost button??

I just saw it again and I was thinking the same thing. Clark is so fast that Jimmy should never have even known that Clark had been to see Chloe. That is, unless he decided to wait until later to see Chloe not realizing that Jimmy was on his way to Isis also.

I think was happened was, clark told jimmy he was gonna do chores. So he started doing chores around the farm as jimmy left so jimmy could see him at work... and then got caught up in it, and decided to finish all his chores before seeing chloe. Even at super speed it still must take a while to do them all, I mean you can't (or shouldn't) milk a cow at superspeed.

By the time he was done he zoomed over to chloe, and jimmy was just arriving.

What an image!
I think that's the only explanation - that he really did do his chores! I actually have more of a problem with Jimmy going from being ultra-suspicious of both Clark and Chloe (and having very good reason to be), to then thinking "Ah well, I guess I let my imagination run away with me again, Clark. I'm such a dope!"

Pretty sure that Clark said he started on them and sped right over to Chloe. Now the drive from SV to Metropolis is like 3 hrs by car right? And mere seconds? minutes? for Clark to cover? Yeah that was a dropping the ball in continuity there in the script for sure.
