It's hard to tell, but the "I hate heroes" was quite convincing.

I think Sylar's genuinely conflicted. I think it would be a tremendous stretch to call him "good", though.

i think sylat is being corrupted by so many people he has no idea what to do. he does bad but feels guilty about it or he does bad and doesnt know its bad cause he is being told its what he is ment to do. i think he is good just does bad things. like people who steal and stuff so they can feed their homeless family and not stealing just cause they are greedy and think their cool.

I would say it is probably best for Sylar to play both sides since it would be weird for him to turn totally good but boring for him to stay evil and since he doesnt have to rip open peoples heads anymore it takes the excitment and fear out of the charecter.

I thinks that a pretty fair comparison, although I'd say Sylar is still more bad than good as opposed to Vegeta.
