I couldn't really see what was actually going on in the jungle/forest when Nathan, Peter, and the Haitian were walking through there but when the Haitian's brother and his men started shooting and chasing after them, Nathan just stopped and surrendered. Is he that slow? Like i said i couldn't see really how far apart they were from eachother but i just don't know why he stopped and surrendered like that, i mean from what i COULD see, he was pretty close to Peter and the Haitian

It's possible he was buying time for Peter/Haitian to escape, or he was scared (I'm thinking he let them escape, or was just slow but they did a poor job showing it)

Exactly. Nathan had no idea that Tracy was going to tell Arthur where he was headed. I also agree that he was buying Peter and the Haitian time to escape.

Yeah,it may looked stupid but,it was also very brave for him to do this because he wanted to buy time for his bro and the haitian so they can escape.He probably thought that his powers would have been back so could fly away just in time.But,he was dead wrong!!!I thought it was funny when he was speaking in french...Je suis Nathan Petrelli,je suis américain ;)

I also think that nathan is a politican, and most of the conflicts he's solved were done by words.

I guess he thought that if he surrendered they would stop shooting and the chances of any of them being killed would be lower. and he can fly, so if they caught him he thought he could escape somehow if his powers came back
