Yep PS3 once said that they would like Martha back for some eps and had an idea for her return but Annette was busy on something at Broadway or something.

No Martha or Gabe Sullivan. It would have been great to see them, but with the budget, actor availability and screen time, it just wasn't possible. This episode had almost the entire main cast in it, only Tess was not in it. And Davis had short scenes. But other than that, Bride was full of story and actors that make a lot of the money on this show.

okay, so they couldnt afford her... but how bout the end of a phone call? a close up of a bouquet from Martha or her Dad? some acknowledgement that Chloe has parents!

Gabe Sullivan calls her daughter on her wedding...but doesn't care about her the other 364 days of the year. They would have to explain that...it was easier with Nell cuz Lana is said to see her a lot. Even with Nell it was kinda random. It's just hard I think, to bring back minor characters. Bringing back Martha would've been more complicted cuz she'd have to have a scene with Clark. .

If this episode was devoted to Chloe's marriage, I'm sure they would've brought Gabe. But there was so much going on. Heck, the least exciting thing of the whole episode was Chloe getting married...I hope no one was offended by that. But unfortunately it was true..what with Doomsday, Lana coming back, Clois..I think ppl forgot about Chloe and Jimmy.. :/

I was hoping that Ma Kent would be there for the wedding too! Hopefully, she'll come back for a few episodes...

But, I guess we'll see if she can spare the time since she's a hero too now, fighting the good fight in Washington. Go Martha!! :D

As I said two weeks ago, I miss Martha A LOT ! She was such a good mother, I like so much the way she was with her "sweetie" son...It is funny, I was thinking of Martha this morning, thank you for the topic:) I really wonder why they don't even mention her at least for the wedding...

Martha should have been there or at least sent a congratulatory fruit basket. If the actor is unavaliable,they could have an extra don a long red wig and stand in the shadows witha pie in her hands.After all, they had a bald wired up dude playing Lex at the end,why not a fake Martha?

I do miss Martha but frankly I'm glad she was probably doing government business and not getting hurt by Doomsday or seeing the Kent barn getting demolished..
