In the episode entitled Bride Lana didn't seem herself. I almost think it's not really her, that maybe it was a Lana clone working for Lex or something a little less crazy. This is what we know about Lana from the episode Bride.
1. She says she has been tracking Lex but she has no ties with Isis anymore and that 's what she used to gather all her information.
2. She says she is protecting Clark but from what, how would she know that Lex knows Clarks Secret, she was in a comma and left town.
3. She does know Clark Secret and His Weakness.
4. She seems ok with the fact that her and clark are over and she said she's right were she wants to be now.
5. She emailed someone about Green Arrow as if she was lying to Green Arrow about her true intentions.
6. At the hospital after Clark walked out of her room she had a wierd look on her face, she looked disconnected from all that had happened.
This is not the same Lana that left Clark that dear john video tape. If in fact this is Lana at all.
I would like to know everyone thoughts on this. Thanks

Nah i agree! I don't think that was her. Well at least i hope it wasn't.
I mean i know Clark & Lana are over. And in a way good.
But in another way I wanted them back together =/
She does seem different.

Actually, this is the true Lana, the Lana hiding behind the sweet girl all these years.
Don't know why people would think she is not Lana.

I'm in no way a Lana Hater. I love the smallville and all it characters and have never missed a show. I would agree that the real Lana is much more cold and calculating then ever imaged, but she would have never ended up that way if not for all the different directions her path in life has taken her. When she woke up from that coma and left clark the message she was setting herself free but I thought it was more of her setting him free. So that Clark would finally open his eyes and see how much the people of earth need him. I thought she was making a self sacrife, she would suffer but in turn the world would be granted a "super" gift. In Bride when she got hurt she did tell Clark she was ok now go and help and at the hospital he checked on her and again she told him it's ok you don't need to be here...but for some reason it all seemed forced...it didn't seem sincere. Maybe I'm being a little to critical but something is a little off and I guess we're all gonna have to wait and see how it plays out.

I've rewatched some parts of the episode and I changed my mind.

Maybe it is her and they will give us some insight about the time she spent incognito. I need to know more.

Its the real her, but she wasnt being sincere in her dismissal of Clark. When she asked Ollie how he was in Cuba, you could see it in her eyes that she still loves him. But for some reason she had to be cold and dismissive towards him when they talked.

Lana absolutely still cares for Clark - that was never the issue. Lana realized that she was holding Clark back. As far as Lana seeming "different", yeah, I got that too. It's Lana alright, but something is going on. We do know (from spoilers) that Lana is being kept alive by LuthorCorp scientists - maybe that has something to do with it.

She did have a certain melancholic look, a bit concerned too, at the end when she was alone at the hospital.

i think it is the real lana...she doesnt want clark to know anything about her so i think thats why shes being dismissive towards him..and i think if she opens up and tells him everything it will open up old feelings

It's the real Lana for sure. They're not gonna pull any more clone crap.
She looked insincere cuz she didn't mean what she said to Clark (how she's right where she wants to be). For whatever reason, she didn't want to let Clark know what's really happening with her.

She went from fragile little girl, to evil b*tch, to normal mature adult. She just had to find a middle ground.

For me, she's the real lana, but something's wrong with her. I agree with her that her relationship with clark needed a closure that neither of them was ready to give at the time, that she and Clark were holding on to something that wasn't working and was never going to work because they could never be honest with each other. And once again she's hiding something from him, something big, but hopefully this mystery will be solved in January and Lana will be an ended chapter in Clark's life.

I'm curious about her telling Clark that she used to sit on her porch and dream about a wedding in the barn. Was that while she was dating Whitney? I don't think Lana and Clark ever dated before she moved in with Chloe, not across the road.

Lana liked Clark when she was dating Whitney. In fact, she was ready to break up with him but then his father got sick (and died) and she felt that she couldn't leave him. When Clark asked Chloe to the dance, Lana was jealous. I really understand her, though. She was only fifteen then, they were just kids, who wouldn't fantasize with the handsome neighbor at that age?

Something's wrong with her. I think she's sick and she's pushing Clark away. And also I think she doesn't want to hold him back, so she's being cold and dismissive. But if Clark is in any danger, I think he'll get a first hand look at how she'd risk her life for him and then he'll know just how "not" over him she really is. I think everything is going to come out - the truth and Clana will just have to deal with it. If the spoilers are true, I can't imagine Clark walking away from a dying Lana. He'd be right by her side to the end just like last season when she was in a coma.

This was the real Lana. She "never felt right" because she felt so small and like she didn't match up to Clark. She knows this moreso than Clark at this point, because she's her. The relationship didn't work because she is Lana.
Gosh, I can't sleep and have no idea what I'm talking about. Every word seems to make less and less sense.

Lex had his people force Lana to leave that dear john video and then he did experiments on her and now she's different. There's speculation that she might actually die for real so I think it's still Lana just something's wrong with her but we won't find out until episode 13 or 14.
