All those times someone was injured in Metropolis they ended up at Smallville Medical Centre. But when the guests at the party are injured in Smallville they end up in Metropolis General.

That's just hilarious!

That's because all of those times when somebody was injured in Metropolis in prior seasons, TPTB didn't have a Met Gen set so they used Smallville Medical Center. Now they don't have a Smallville Medical Center set anymore so Met Gen is the one they use.

I know. But when you ignore the logic it's pretty funny.

I noticed it too right away. I was like...oops! But then again, the show has converted the SMC set into Met Gen, so I understand the mistake.

The outside part did look like Met. Gen. and I thought it was wierd to have everybody there when the Smallville hospital is just up the road...If it was Met. Gen., that was a long painful 3 hour drive for those people who got hurt by Doomsday's attack..

Anyone else find it weird that the wedding guests had to go all the way to the Metropolis emergency room when the Smallville Medical Center was just a few miles away. Besides Chloe's apartment TPTB are really trying to stay away from anything that actually has to do with Smallville. Not that I'm complaining since it needs to move on, like I said, I just thought it was weird the guests had to drive (20 minutes, 2 hours, the other side of the state, how know) for medical attention.

Yeah, its like the Smallville Medical Center is gone.
But I don't think they use it anymore cause I think they changed the set into the Metropolis Hospital.

I questioned it for a second but then I thought that MetGen has better doctors and equipment that SMC does.

I would think so too. I thought it funny last season in "Fracture" when Lionel tells Clark, "Thank God we got Lex med-evac here." Here meaning Smallville Med. It used to be that the Luthors would bring in doctors from Metropolis or wherever or have people moved to other hospitals.

I think its the same set, and they don't want to change it every time the town changes.

Which episode in season 8 did they use SMC?

that one is easily explained. now that Lana is in town the one spare room in smallville medical is reserved for her.

I pay attention to detail in most things, but for some reason I never have bothered to notice in which hospital people end up. Well, except for that time Lex was shot in Detroit & sent to Smallville--that was too ridiculous to miss!

Last night I was watching an episode from season 3, & the Daily Planet looked totally different from what it looks like now. These are the kinds of things one only notices from watching old episodes, though.

True, there are many elements of Smallville for plot flaws, incontinuity, etc., but I am still a loyal fan!
