Don't get me wrong, it was a good episode bar Lana ruining the almost Kiss between Clark and Lois (but that's more really Clark's fault then Lana's) but don't you think because we saw so many trailers and clip before hand, I felt like I have seen half of the episode when I watched it!
But anyway, I give this episode 8/10 :o

Yeah, I think I would've enjoyed the episode more if I hadn't been so thoroughly spoiled.

It was a little strange, since we pretty much already saw the first 15 minutes of the episode.

I agree with you but well it is our fault...I always say to myself "I don't watch the trailer,..." but I can't prevent from doing it so...;)

actually chloe interupted the clois kiss by saying no way though to be fair the reason chloe said no way wasn't becuase she saw them about to kiss it was because she saw lana. It wasn't like lana walked in and made a big deal everyone stop what your doing or about to do and look at me chloe pointed lana out wich distracted clark from the clois kiss because hes a bda.

It definitely ruined Odyssey for me. It wasn't so bad for Bride. It would have been neat to not have known the spoiler that it would be Lana that Ollie found in Cuba.
Sometimes I wonder if shows that are in network TV in 8PM time slot are allowed to be scary. Maybe that is why they let us see Doomy in the preview clip and only showed the wedding scene for a few seconds. Maybe it would have scared children who might be watching at 8PM.

It ruined the suspense a bit. There were so many spoilers about this episode. It didn't help that the tease showed me the ending. I felt that I had already seen half of the episode and that I was just waiting to see where the old scenes would be placed.

I never watch the trailers..it's hard cause its really tempting. Not watching the trailer for this episode really paid off. I was suprised when Lana showed up and when they finally showed Doomsday it was awesome. Great episode

This episode wasn't ruined for me, I was surprised as to how many times Lana showed up on my screen, I'm glad they didn't ruin that with director cuts and whatnots.

No. I thought they generated a good amount of buzz. The only thing was, I was expecting to see more Doomsday besides what they showed. I wish they would have cut out some of the 'shipping scenes & had more Doomsday.

Overall, absolutely not. I was terrified it would. But, I rewatched it literally 7 times that night.
Much more was given to us than the teasers, thankfully. It oviously took some punch out of the end, but it didn't bother me in the least.

It only ruined the episode for viewers that go online and read spoilers.
The SV Online community is very small in comparison to total viewing audience.
The majority of SV viewers only saw the trailer and decided whether to watch the ep or not.

I love spoilers. Until Bride, I can't say they ever spoiled my viewing experience. It was too much.

I avoided every detail of this episode. All I knew going into it was its title and the official description from the CW. I didn't even watch the trailer.
And I loved every second!
I enjoyed the episode but I would have liked it if I didn't get a long glimpse of Doomsday in the previews. I wish it had just been Doomsday lurking in the shadows or Davis' hand sprouting the bones out.

Not really.
I would have liked the look of Doomsday being a surprise, but other than that, I didn't feel like watching the clips ruined the episode for me.

I felt over spoiled. I have decided to stay away from spoilers for the next half of the season. But even still, Doomsday was quite a thrill.

I had said that I wouldn't look at spoilers for the first half of S8, but, when it came down to it, I wasn't able to help myself.

If people would stay away from the Director's cut or other videos/spoilers you might enjoy the episodes more but noone seems to listen and you wonder why they don't get the same enjoyment.

there were defintly too many clips for this episode. we were pretty much shown half the episode from the clips and previews. but its our own fault for watching them:p

well the clips was alot, i mean ALOT but it didnt ruin the eppy, did it make it a little predicatble? yes but it wasnt awful. the only thing i was dissapointed with this eppy was if they showed doomsday causing more havoc and destruction.

The beginning clip was just weird...it would hv been MUCH better if Ollie/Lana scene started as the intro, much MUCH BETTER!!
